Because like what happened to Shiel and McKay, all the pressure will go towards them. They will feel like they need to carry the burden of this club. They break mentally and you will have a player going through their motions, no where near their best.

Given his age and ability, it would be stupid given our lack of star power (and that he is a free agent) to not at least inquire about Bailey.
If he says no, nothing lost. A trade being forced isn’t reason to not make that offer. We can change our minds if it comes to that.
We have enquired, there were stories about biggest contract offered from EFC all time last year.
