Draper didn’t train at all with the main group but he was the most vocal one out there. Even when he was on the other oval he was cheering on the boys.

That’s a real high five.

I’m about half way through rushing some out.

I can’t be bothered doing anymore for now.

I was able to sneak into the hanger and get a snap of Daniher. Might not be ready for round 1.

Any thoughts on Townsend?

I haven’t seen him do much wrong. He seems pretty agile for his size, his disposal looks OK and he’s a solid mark. But he’s an absolute terrier when defending, chases, doesn’t give up and tackles with real intent.

I think he’s been selected for a reason and will play most weeks when fit, I don’t think he was picked up as depth.

Rather one from a decade ago, … when the bun was the right fkn size. …

Didn’t someone say Mozzie was out of shape for preseason? He looks OK to me.

You’ve been around long enough to know you take absolutely everything written here with a grain , … tablespoon of Salt no??

whoever performs best in the JLT
out of Snelling/Cahill/Mosquito/Begley should earn a spot up forward/on the bench round 1

I hope they’re trying Begley elsewhere. I don’t think he’s a forward

Can you explain further on “kicking ordinary/ disappointing” yet “emphasis on executing skills”? Doesn’t seem to correlate.

Every Essendon training session I’ve been to in the past few years I always walked away thinking how horrible our skills were. Richmond’s skills improved greatly in 2017 as did Collingwood’s in 2018 and look at the results.

If your right and there’s an emphasis on skills and we improve in this area I can see us jumping up the ladder. I haven’t seen us this preseason but no training I’ve seen has ever been dedicated to skill improvement.
I want to see slow(build a base) end to end ball movement gradually increasing intensity and perceived pressure.

Actually @nackers, @Deckham, @BakerWasAStar is it too early to tell if any players have had a positional change?

Who’s that?
