I don’t agree with this at all.
He’s not hugely strong, but he’s not getting ragdolled, either.
He definitely wouldn’t win many pitched-battle one on ones, but he works very very hard to get the contests on his preferred terms.
I feel like they want Stewart to take a page out of his book.
Stewart has never had a problem leading up and back to the wings prior to that, so maybe he was down on confidence along with the rest of the team.
Distance covered is a difficult one to measure as Brown was on ground more (93.6% v 86%) and as pointed out numerous times we were playing far better as the year went on which would breed confidence among the group.
*For the record, Stewart polled better in the Crichton if that counts.
