Hurley pulled up at the end of a drill in pain foot/ankle. Hobbled off. Club reckons minor ankle strain.

You reminded me of this sub par series from the Year 1984…
Interestingly, we won the Flag that year to break our (at the time) longest drought between Flags.
Hopefully by winning the Flag this year, we prevent ourselves from setting a new record.
I’m extrapolating a helluva lot from an innocuous mention of a V, but it’s a sign I tells ya.

I haven’t seen a huge amount of him as the new guys have done a limited number of sessions and not full sessions when they have trained. When they have been there I have been paying more attention to Mossie and Gown.
Personally speaking from the bits I have seen he’s looked very good and done not much wrong without doing anything exceptional.
One of the guys I was talking to on Friday though goes to just about every session and he’s been watching him closely and said he has amazing hands, just never fumbles.
From your observations it sounds like we may have picked up another gem at a slightly later pick in the draft than Fantasia and Hooker.
Do you think he may get games later this year or will have to build up his body?
