Training 29th Nov

Smooth mover, has an extra burst of speed to get out of trouble, elusive and wrong foots opposition players with ease, and he even wears the right jumper already. There is plenty to like here, not the least being his ability to hit up targets. He would make any disappointment in not being able to draft NWM quickly forgotten, a player he resembles at least in style.

Fingers and eyes crossed that we pick him up.
Ned Long is still on my Christmas shopping list too.

He’s probably going to be busy at hawthorn for a while yet.

I hope you’re right, but generally when players have turned up so out of shape for the preseason, it’s only led to a year of injury and struggle and trying to play catch up. He’s bigger than I can even recall back on his VFL days. Fingers crossed he can get it all together mentally and physically

@nackers I seemed to have lost a rubber foot from my monopod today. Next time if you can, have a quick look around the area I was at see if you can find it. Basically a black rubber stop with a threaded screw end.

Thanks!

Correct.

Hope we’ve got some sort of contingency in place up forward as I don’t think we’ll be seeing Tippa feature til later in the season all things going well for him.

He is still back though!

That could be a small forward role player for 2022

Merrett looks bigger in the shoulders and upper region?

Damn! Is he on their list or only training with them?
If he is only training with them l would love us to swoop in and draft him.

No problem I will have a look

They took him in the rookie draft.

No i’m saying Worsfold wasn’t necessarily wrong to suggest further developing an area of strength as opposed to focusing on an area of weakness.

I would say that this trainer Walla and been training with has him on a dirty bulking program, which is all wrong for small forward. Less muscle more speed work.
