How did KAV go? Has he continued to lift his intensity?
Kav is training well. I haven’t noticed a change in intensity but I haven’t been particularly looking for it.
Kav has one year to go on his contract and I think most would agree that Zerret has moved past him and Cooney will get a game ahead of him and Colyer has greatly improved his pace being a real weapon so Kav will really have to perform well in the VFL to break into the side while competing with
other candidates such as Brown, Kommer and Hams. The club is in its best position for years with midfielders/wingers.
We certainly have the talent on the list. Just need a handful to step up and we will be right amongst it next year.

I have a feeling Lav will go past him very fast, the benefit of his extra height means he may not take as long physically through just being bigger generally. Kav was very skinny when he joined and has failed to build the necessary frame or tank. As much as I like Kav as a player he is pushing ■■■■ up hill now.

Essendon Football Club welcomes fans to its skills training session throughout the 2015 pre-season.
The following dates will be open to fans during December:
9.30am - Friday 5th December
9.30am – Friday 12th December
9.30am – Friday 19th December
9.00am – Tuesday 23rd December
Please note there will be limited autograph opportunities with jackie mihocek following these sessions.
We apologies in advance for any late changes to the training schedule and will endeavor to inform fans of any changes as soon as possible.
All of the above sessions will be held at the True Value Solar Centre.

Next open training date if Friday 19th at 9.30 then the following Tuesday 23rd.
However there is training most days except Thursday the players day off so you can go and see what’s happening if you want. However often a lot of the training is indoors or consists primarily of running at this stage.
Visiting on the non open days is not officially sanctioned by the club but I haven’t heard of anyone being ejected because they do want people to use the Bomber Shop and the Cafe and you are not really doing any harm at this stage of the year.

So Belly is back in full training with the group?
He's the remaining piece of the puzzle IMO. Our backline is solid and dynamic. Our fwd line should explode this year. Our midfield has added pace and experience.
If Belly is hindered or injured and we have to rely heavily on Giles or McKernan (remains to be seen if they can carry the ruck load) then we could struggle a bit.
