Training Monday November 11 - anticipation

Someone has given Mossie a leg up in the off season

Skipworth gone. Surely his prospects of continuing coaching with us weren’t great if he took an academy job similar to that of Hocking instead of an actual AFL line coach.

Wow. Didn’t see that coming

From the article… ā€œThe Bombers have however gained highly-rated Richmond assistant Blake Caracella, and top VAFA coach Cam Roberts, who also has experience at AFL NT.ā€œ

First I’ve heard of us linked to Roberts

Skipworth has been here as long as Zaharakis and Hurley.

We are now free to replace him with Ben Cousins like Blitz always wanted to.

Didn’t Walla say an enormous part of his development as an AFL footballer was because of the work Skipworth did?

I think he may unfairly cop the rough end of the pineapple around these parts…

Doubt it

A lot of players speak highly of Skippy, Maybe that’s the issue he was more a friend, they need someone who hurls abuse at them?

Careful now, balanced and thoughtful comments will not be well recieved. Try the more typical approach - anonymous condescension and sweeping baseless appraisals of staff performance works best here

Writing was on the wall for Skippy when we bought it Cara, Rutten, Richardson, Solly*(tbc)

Change is in the waters, which is good because we haven’t won a thing worth noting with the old group. Surprised Harvs is still there, though I suspect it’s his last season.

Side note who is Scooter on Twitter? Seems concerned about a lot at EFC lately, is he on the inside at the club?

Yeah. I hear Millennials just love that.

Door open for finger pointing B J Goddard ???

Just came back from BJ thread, no chance. gurge

C’mon man, you know it’s about the brand, merchandising & social media likes.

Kicking goals, taking marks, winning premiership not so much

Yet the oldest piece of furniture is still there…

Scooter is Scott McNeice, not on the inside but has great relationships with some that are.

Scott & his mate Grant were the drivers behind the March to G before Rnd 1 2016.

Check out his Lunchtime Catchup podcast.
