This conversation about Rance playing either at senior or VFL level doesn’t surprise me - I ranted long and hard about how impactful he was in the game at Southport.
I also saw Hodge play for Bris in the backline and his positive impact as a playing backline coach was undeniable. He did not stop coaching & directing players all game. Invaluable for a young/new backline.

Preseason for the youngsters doesn’t officially start until Monday. My guess is that he’s probably back in SA for a bit.
No need to worry just yet.
Rance idea is exciting yes, but I’d rather get senior games into Brand, Zerk, Reid, etc if injuries hit.

Parish looked ok today - he was practicing snap shots for goal on the other oval
Francis playing as a forward looked sharp.
Appear to have more coaches than last year - everything seemed purposeful and efficient.

If Rance is going to play this year I’d prefer it’s in the VFL…
His development coaching would be much more valuable there and he would help fast track BZT, Brand, Reid etc
