Maybe they had a better game plan?

Binoculars can’t see in there, sadly.

You need better binoculars

we can but hope

The first step in filling that void, is growing a beautiful moustache.

I think that’s a big issue for us for quite some time that we haven’t really designated a player the freedom to win the game for us. Quite rare for a team to make a grand final without that one player given the license to run rampant. Mind you we haven’t really had a consistent serious game changer since Hird but that might be a fault on us for not providing the opportunity.

and taking it one step further

I think the guy on the list with the most potential to become this game changer is Stringer. He’s turned momentum in games for us in the past with moments of brilliance, so the ability is there. Just needs to get his body right so he can sustain the brilliance over a longer period to become that game winner.

Stringer was one of the very few who was ready to play from round 1 this year. You are right, if he can maintain a high standard throughout the season it will make us significantly more competitive. He’s 26, turning 27 in April so Jake is in his peak zone. His best years should be now.

A new coach and the younger tier that’s behind him pushing themselves may help lift him.

Big step up? Until 2020 Cutler played in NEAFL games aswell as played for Lions AFL team, 66 games in 5 years…

ā– ā– ā– ā–  No!
Although maybe now HWMNBN will find more pools to clean in Brisbane when he spends time away from the game again.

Can you stand on the boundary yet or you still on the other side of the road fence?

Want to come down to do photos again but being that far away will make them a bit dull.

On the hill would suffice if they need distance.

@nackers

No we’re outside the ground on the hill for the foreseeable future.

It’s not far at all from the MCG size ground but you would have to get high enough so the lens is above the fence.

It’s a long way from the Docklands size ground though, it would be hard to get any decent photos of there.

We think Thursday will be the last major session for the year, but it may be tomorrow. I’m not going tomorrow but will be able to find out if it was on.

Hmmmm, may need to wait for practice matches then if that’s the case.

Wonder what the problem is? It’s outside, it’s more than 1.5m away. I’m happy to wear a mask if they deem it necessary.

Which leads to…

Just another one of the ridiculous restrictions still in place, this one implemented by the AFL
In the meantime there are still 30 or 40 tradesman on site completing the new extension and wandering throughout the facility.

I look forward to all the ā€œwill he, won’t heā€ discussion before he becomes a DON EAL

Ah so i need the high vis and turn up looking like a tradie.

In an ideal world you would have 2 sets. One for you and one for me.

A beaten up ute to drive in with wouldn’t hurt either.

If you have a ute you can back it onto the fence and I have the platform needed to get photos!
