The official EFC app has Parish listed at 180 and I was sure I read somewhere that Caldwell was 186 but I haven’t been able to find it.

Who knows how big they will end up but Caldwell is only 20 into his third pre season, this is Parish’s 6th.
You would expect a lot more development to come from Caldwell physically in the next few years.

I was getting 181cm off the EFC site, which is the same as footywire and AFL tables

Of course the app has it different.
On TV, I’d be surprised if Caldwell’s 186. He will end up a good few kg heavier than Parish though.

Agree 100%.

Caldwell is 183 cm and just turned 20. He will be much bigger than Parish when he is all filled out.

They were at little blue lake, but 10mins south of Gambier. First thing I’d be doing if I became an AFL footballer would be to get my folks out of Millicent so I never had to visit that god forsaken hell hole again!

Only problem was we took this philosophy right thru the season

Caldwell will be a superstar if he gets through injury free.

Johnson, Jones, McQuillan, McBride, Bryan, Cahill and Hird. Frankly, as someone who loves watching our VFL, I’m interested in our entire 2019 draft class since I’ve not seen a single game of any of them, except 1 or 2 from Cahill. Are we sitting on some stars? Are they all duds? What positions can Hird and Johnson play? Not a clue on any of these. :sob:

But looking forward to finding out in 2021! :smiley_cat:

Vfl is going to be fascinating. 2 years worth of draftees who we haven’t seen.

And you just know the BOG each game will be Cutler, just to ā– ā– ā– ā–  off Blitz.

No doubt there will be a mix of stars and duds among those you have nominated. Like you, l have not seen any of them in action, so l have nothing to go on.

Ha. I watched Myers play VFL after he demoted himself. It was a BOG performance, like better than anything Dusty ever did, the only problem was it was at VFL level, and he never did anything remotely like it at AFL level before or after. Its a big step up.

If anyone remembers a Hurley game early in his career in the VFL - it was sublime watching.

Draper was just soooo good to watch too.

Has Hurley even played VFL?

Zaharakis in his 3rd or 4th VFL game had 35+ touches and kicked 7 goals from the midfield…

Crazy numbers

I remember Hurley was made to play VFL after the taxi driver incident.

Hurley broke his hand playing VFL when Jack Riewoldt punched it - happened in 2009 i think. Start of his marking problems.

I wouldn’t mind gym reports given all our draftees bar perky look like twigs.
