It doesn’t mean the goals were set up by Saad and McKenna though.
They might have had a few runs and bounces each per game, that resulted in 1 or 2 goals.
Maybe my memory is a bit hazy, but I don’t think it was worth persisting with.
Thanks for the insights mate. Tell us a little more about cox please. Any observations on his ability to get through traffic?
He has good evasion, but it’s his kicking that gets him through traffic, haven’t seen him handball a great deal. At times, he’ll probably bite off more than he can chew, but he takes difficult kicks on, and hits the more often than not. Next time I’m there, I’ll have a look at how he moves a bit more closely, try and give a more definitive answer.
Any thoughts on the guys trying to win a list spot?
I’ve said that Waterman looks the best of them, but I didn’t notice any of them really do much today. If I were a betting man, I’d say we take Waterman and a spot in the mid season draft.
But we could do anything. There might be stuff from the others that impresses the coaches that I don’t see.
Thanks very much
With LAV, Hepp, Cahill & Hind all playing some time down back we seem to have replaced McKenna & Saad with 4 possibles.
I’m with @Henry_s_Angry_Pills. HBF could be the making of LAV2.0.
It is actually good to see we are trying things out and giving ourselves some potential flexibility for when the injuries come, as they inevitably will.
Bit of a logjam in the forward line and midfield as it is.
Like.
Lets hope but a big call
As much as I hate to say it, McKenna & Saad are proven guns
I never understood this saying. The box always tells you what chocolates are in it!
Awesome thanks
For Cox to able to run like he does.
Be as agile as he is.
Have such a penetrating kick.
And present as a genuine marking key tall between the arcs.
Could Be anything.
He’ll be like if Kepler Bradley fell into some crazy radioactive chemical and obtained super powers.
Edit- Watson on SEN saying club are rapt with the way he has slotted in,can’t believe his running capacity and athleticism for his size.
What I’m hearing about Cox reminds me of Peter Cransberg.
Hopefully his body holds up a bit better.
Tha’ts not a bad shout in terms of skillset and body shape similarities. Cransberg had a lovely left boot. Cox is amost a level up in physical profile though, has another half a foot on Cransberg.
Nice little clip of training sessions on EFC insta
Forrest should have said that life is like a lucky dip.

ESPN FC - This training session looks like so much fun 😂 🎯... | Facebook
this would be a fun training session to watch.
That bloke 3rd from the right does such a great job balancing that blue ball on his head.

What a great photo! I love the image of boys peering over the fence at Glenferrie. Love their clothes and the cars. I940s or 50s, I assume,
Great news on Cox. Even before he was drafted bY us, I thought he had one of the highest ceilings in the class. Really just hope he continues to put in the work to realise his potential. Count me as excited for some big lean Cox.
Imagine if he becomes the biggest big bodied mid to ever big body mid
