Tex??

Duz wins the 2km time trial again.

A fair way in front of Langford and Martin.

Redman was back of the pack so i suggest was going at 80%

Reid is HUGE and was mid to back of pack

Boys just finished a 2km time trial. Durham won by about 30 metres. Martin, Langford, McGrath and Lual fill out the top 5. Redman did run but stayed with back group to coach them on to get the best run out of the whole group. Lual the obvious big improver from last trial

Love Durham building his tank. He can really impact at the contest with his attack on the ball. If he starts getting to more contests where he’s a chance to be the first to win it he’s going to explode

Thank you to all the on site reporters, Bomberblitz is a tough place to visit when training isn’t on.

Your updates are appreciated, let’s now all get pumped for the season, we are undefeated and currently sitting equal top.

This is some serious getting out the cobwebs type of session. Skills been pretty poor to be blunt

You talking kicking skills particularly?

No offence, but hardly surprising first day back after weeks of relaxation.
It’s a hot morning and after all that’s what training is for isn’t it?
If you’ve ever played sport and come back after a break you are always rusty, no matter how good you are.

I’m of the opposite view, especially with senior players at pro level.
They should have a solid base skill level trained into their muscle memory, rather than having to be skilled up again after a short break.
Explains why we turn to crap when the pressure is applied, our base is low.
