he showed some good signs in the half he played back against Port (?) but from a list balance perspective i don’t really get this.
Appreciate the report don very informative.
I think every training watcher this off season has mention how much Langers has stepped up in his presence around the group so I hope that means he’s setting himself for a big year. If Langers, Parish, McGrath, Riddles, etc. start to drive the club forward then that should at least lessen the impact of the expected rebuild period of the next few years.
Supporters need something to hang their hat on and preferably its from the younger group rather than the same old heads.
He can’t look back. Too much strain on his groins.
FTFY
Stringer has been on the bike. Looks ok but obviously cautious on something
Wearing a helmet?
A few observations from my attendance today.
Johnson is a beautiful kick. He was in full training. Could be a little bonus for us.
Josh Misiti looks a very likely type to me - excellent kick - whether around the ground or kicking for goal - mobile, good size and handles the ball well.
Wright is a good kick for goal, as we know.
Moore is like his father in running style and has some talent.
Cox, when kicking for goal, was way off target on numerous occasions. Some shots missed the lot. However when I left he was the last player out there practicing his kicking for goal with one of the staff.
Draper is skilful and seems to have built up physically over the break.
Langford leading the pack when running. Looks very impressive on the track. A bit of a leader out there in the way he applies himself.
Parish the same.
Perkins, Zerk-T, Stringer not sighted by me. Heppell ran some laps with Zaharakis and didn’t join in the general training.
Hind will be a bonus for us this year imo.
Stewart spent some time in one of the drills playing a defensive role.
Session finished around 11.30.
Thank you Sir @dontildeath

Did he go into a type-of-player or area-of-ground group at some stage? If so, what was it?
Add him to the list of people who didn’t get a full preseason.
Milanista28:
I’ve heard he’s having a good pre season and hasn’t missed much at all.
looks happy
Makes me cry, please no more Daniher references until he breaks down, fark him.

Appears that he is spending too much time with our staff if his kicking has already turned bad.
Preeemership teams always start back a few weeks after the rest of the pack.
Is it bad I’m secretly wishing for that round 1 breakdown?
Nackers needs to return to form.
I don’t think anyone could deal with Nino pulling a Steven Bradbury for the Blitz award.
This reminds me of the Spin Doctors song Little miss can’t be wrong
“It’s been a whole lot easier since the ■■■■■ left town
It’s been a whole lot happier without her face around
Nobody upstairs gonna stomp and shout
Nobody at the back door gonna throw my laundry out
…
I hope them cigarettes are gonna make you cough
I hope you heard this song and it ■■■■■■ you off
I take that back, I hope you’re doing fine
And if I had a dollar I might give you ninety-nine”
How did Zach Reid go today? Also, any signs on who will be the starting key forwards?
Well I suppose that’s better than calling him Dame Nackers!
Was johnson training with the forwards, when you say he was a good kick, in general play or shot on goal?
and when you say he was a good kick, are you comparing him to essignton or the rest of the competition.
No indication as to what the forward structures will be, as I haven’t seen any match simulation.
Reid looks good at this early stage.
