Spot on so have I!
HIS STRING WENT PING.
Looks like another vanilla panic merchant
DUDoro
Good comparison
FFS, I’m sick of seeing posts like this.
Do people actually think 2 months “off” training in isolation is appropriate preparation for a season. Get used to it, cos there will be injuries and there will be far more than usual, for EVERY team in the comp this year BECAUSE their preparation has been completely FARKED.
Think someone posted the Bundesliga had almost a 300% increase in injuries to what was normal upon its resumption. This will be our norm.
Suns out
Toungues out.
This kid is no “mosquito”. I know he is not tall but he is much bigger in the torso and arms than I thought and he was prepared to go in hard at the contest from his first VFL game. I think he might be ready to go at AFL level. I hope the coaches agree.
I hope they don’t play him as I want to be able to say that I was there at his first game.
I actually kind of agree. It wont seem right when this kid kicks his first goal in an empty stadium. I want it to happen in a packed MCG.
Injury lists from other clubs
Crows 1
Brisbane 2
Tigers 2
Saints 2
I’m sick of us being injury riddled
Looks like he’s been super busy in the gym since last year. Go Mozzie.
We’re really not too badly off on the injury front as nearly all of the injured players are developing players not in contention for selection - Jones, Bryan, Cahill, Gown, Johnson and Hird, with McBride and McQuillan coming out of isolation today.
Apparently Snelling just had a corkie and is right to go and Redman we don’t know about.
That just leaves Fanta and Tippa out for one or two weeks and Daniher.
do you know what the issue with cahill is aker?
No I have no idea, he’s been in and out of training at various times even before the lockdown.
I would think he’s like a number of first year players who get a lot of niggles and sore spots with the increased intensity of training and they’re just being cautious with him.
Nice selective post Nino.
And the Crows is actually - 5
also
Fark carlton - 8
The Eddies - 8

The overall number of injuries isn’t that shocking.
It’s the concentration in one part of the ground.
By my count we have 13 dedicated fwds on the list.
6 of them are injured. including 3 of our 4 best (with the 4th also probably carrying something).
McNernan/Laverde will not only get a free run, they’ll be trying to spearhead the fwd line.
He’s still listed on the club website at 176 cm and only 72 kg. He may well still be only 176 cm tall, but he looks to be a lot more than 72 kg in weight.
I stood next to him one time, taller than me and i’m 178cm.
This time last year, around June, we’d lost Daniher Stewart Smith & Draper for the year.
Belly, Stringer Shiel Fanta Smack Brown, were all missing a couple of weeks during the month.
Following on from his State Of Origin form…
