Training Saturday Feb 8th

Wonder if Truck will take the reigns for the Marsh series. will be beneficial for him to get an early taste of being in the hot seat and what to expect when he gets the gig full time imo.

Hoping itā€™s not his hamstrings

Doesnā€™t turn 19 until after Rd 5.
Bring him in.

Heā€™s played 78 games straight. Soft tissue injuries havenā€™t been a problem in recent times.

Thatā€™s some kind of record for an Essendon player lets hopes it stays that way

Yep. Heā€™s the 3rd most reliable in the league. This was published a few days ago and is an interesting read:

His 7 goals against Brisbane lols

I watched the replay of that game last night man we were so good type of footy we played that day was premiership material too bad we couldnā€™t replicate it for the entire season.

Haha, i know. It wasnā€™t until a little later we figured out that Melbourne were a bottom 2 side. At that stage they were still a top 4 fancy. Youā€™ve gotta love footy.

Thatā€™s right we lost the first two games and then disposed of Melbourne and Brisbane in consecutive weeks and was thinking to my self here we go maybe the team is finally turning the corner but as always Essendon are just a tease haha

We didnā€™t tease, we were playing against the 2nd worst side in the comp and a team that stunk royally on the day.

But the following week we beat the second best (in ladder placement)ā€¦ Thatā€™s a tease surely.

You talking about Brisbane? they were 3-0 heading to our match with their first win being against the reigning premiers in WC on their home patch irrc and we made them look second rate.

They squibbed it that day. It was their worst performance by a mile. Pressure was non existent.

They squibbed lols.

They were getting talked up like they were the second coming of the 3 peat Lions and we smashed them you are not giving Essendon enough credit.

We then flogged North and pushed the inform Pies, Looked like we were building something.

Cool story. They were woeful that day. They squibbed it.

Losing on Anzac Day was far more meritorious than smoking a limp Brisbane.

Yeah due Essendon who didnā€™t allow Brisbane to play their game.

No. that didnā€™t happen.

Agree we matched them on the inside and absorbed pressure, we canā€™t seem to do that week in week out, thatā€™s what we all want to see change.
