Richmond flogged them in the finals last year you going to say they squibbed that game too?

Yep. And were able to challenge without being given the game we wanted. Far more impressive to be within a kick playing a game we don’t want to play than downhill ski all over somebody who didn’t front up.

Don’t care that we ran the Pies close a loss is still a loss and losses shouldn’t be celebrated.

You hope players were filthy after the game and not patting each other on the bum.

Cant remember which game but Smith was interviewed after a loss one week and was asked what positives the club can take and he basically wanted none of it. only if more of his team mates were like Smith.

You obviously didn’t watch either game if you’re trying to draw any comparison between the two.

I am done with the conversation.

Did we win?

I did watch Richmond Vs Brisbane final people who tipped Brisbane to win had rocks in their head was only going be one result and that was Richmond given them a flogging which turned out to be correct.

Yeah he asked me if I knew anything about getting intervention orders. Reckons this Willie D.ick bloke is obsessed with him .

He was out there. Didn’t particularly stand out or get much of it.

Thanks mate. Pretty intrigued to see which way we go.

Off half back again? Given what you said earlier I’m kinda surprised he’s not being trialed as a forward

I remember in a game last year he went at 100% disposal efficiency mainly by foot. Think it may have been the good Friday game. kid is a jet

Back in the day. I am talking the middle of last century when I grew up these hairstyles were only worn by the US military personnel. There was no way anyone in Australia would have been seen with those haircuts.

I remember back when this thread had some great posts about training.

They seem to have petered out.

I miss those posts.

Conventional footy smarts no, but he does some Gaelic things that we’ve never seen before in the game.

Athletically he is the equivalent to just about every great small forward in the league.

He’s unpredictable, he’s aggressive, he’s a beautiful kick of the ball, he kicks weird angles without changing his action.

You can train people to defend conventional footy smarts but guys like Gray and Tippa are still too evasive / too skilled. How do you train someone to defend against the kind of random ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  that Conor will be doing?

I’m cautiously optimistic that this is a great move

He’s a hair over 6 foot tall. What counts as a small forward?
