I’d rather he save it for the season proper.
But we barely have enough good forwards as it is.
Thank you for all your work, @Begbie. Did you or anyone else happen to see if Draper has his spring in his jump back?
Touch wood, been really pleased with his recovery.
Martin doesn’t looks slow there. Its majestic to see him and Perky in full flight.
Thanks for the reports!!!
So good to get home from work and read them all!!!
Thanks Matt.
To your question, no I didn’t really see him elevate. Didn’t really have to jump in any of the drills he did.
Thanks. In that case, would probably want him to be jumping well without pain before having him return. That’s not to say he’s not doing it inside, or elsewhere.
Do we have plan B when they tag Martin…. Probably not !
Did he run like he’d curled one out into his pants? If so then definitely him.
Put him on the wing or half forward?
Last year a few times the opposition would play a defensive HF on Redman and as a result our movement off half back would be stifled. If Martin gives us extra options off half back then that will be very beneficial. No doubt clubs will try and expose him, it’s up to us to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Also, perhaps it shifts focus from Merrett.
Clubs very rarely tag, and if they do they are extremely unlikely to tag more than one player.
Come to think of it, If I was the opposition I would be genuinely concerned about the pairing of Redman and Martin off HB. They won’t be able to stop them both.
Channel 7 had vision of Draper contesting a mark against Hurley. He held his ground well in the front position, pushed off and elevated to take the mark.
OK. First thing we know. A whole heap of half forwards and midfielders are going to go after Marto physically.
oh noooo
There is Something about Martin
What sort of hair product is he using?
It’s all in his head
He’s a very good trainer is Weid, does his best work in match sim and training drills.
