Agree, and James Hird should ■■■■■■■ apologise!
Give Dangerfield an extra week for wasting everyone’s time
Thread delivering some genuine giggles at the moment.
The are going to announce Redmans 1 game ban when they give the Dangerfield verdict.
Sounds like he’s dobbing his client in now.
And if he wants to appeal, he has to go to Switzerland.
OJ Simpson-esq? “Hypothetically, if I did it, this would be how I did it”
Zita saying they are now deliberating.
It doesn’t look like the AFL put forward a case? Other than a couple of questions to Danger?
OJ couldn’t pay the family for a civil suit so they got the book rights, and made the ‘if’ very subtle on the cover. The chapter about how he ‘would’ve done it’ was intense, I was sweaty reading it.
100%
I don’t get the tone in here, but assume people just don’t like him.
Literally everything he said was 100% reasonable and accurate. And he did execute the tackle with care, with a technique that they have no doubt practiced a lot.
Walsh’s knees digging in to the turf is what flipped the script. If the verdict hasn’t already come in, I’m sure he’ll still get a week, but he’ll be stiff.
Same thing happened with the Jones tackle and he got done still
I think more the fact we have had players suspended and so have most other teams for this rule. Danger getting off the week they play us would rightly ■■■■ us off
I’ve actually met him a few times and he seems like a decent bloke.
But I reckon it’s a pretty clear cut 1 week, I actually think Dangerfields evidence makes it even clearer.
Well, if he still is after trying to get off for this long, i first give him kudos, and then call for an investigation int his use of supplements and oxygen tents.
I agree the week will likely stand. Just think he’s very stiff whilst everyone is painting him like some sort of villain.

I don’t get the tone in here, but assume people just don’t like him.
I like Danger. I think his argument was a little over the top, self serving.
But it’s not whether or not he deserves a week off. I think many players that got 3 weeks deserved zero. Under the rules as applied to so many others so far this year, it would be hypocritical to let him off. But none of us would be in the least bit surprised if the AFL showed themselves to be hypocritical once again.
His argument wasn’t over the top. It was a very accurate description of his actions.
He’s got both his legs in the air when he has both arms pinned…and there’s this thing called gravity…how he can argue that he was trying to look after Walsh on the way down is utter garbage!
