So 2MP has been going given a $2000 fine for striking. I certainly hope it’s not for that dive after the marking contest that McCartin did.
Pretty sure that’s the one. Mccartin milked it for all he could.
If it’s the one I’m thinking of, McCartin was in front position and took a chest mark (another poor delivery not to 2MP’s advantage.) 2MP was behind him and swung a fist around McCartin’s body in what could be described as an attempt to spoil. Fletcher probably would have made it work. 2MP missed the ball and made late contact with McCartin’s midsection, and McCartin went to ground. The way McCartin had been scragging all afternoon… I won’t say he “deserved” it, but I certainly wasn’t surprised when it happened.
I doubt he even felt it, but I think he milked it for all it’s worth purely to slow down the run on we had.
