Can't wait for GOT to start, there's so much I'm keen to see unfold, Im figuratively drooling. In fact I think this is the season where we will see the characters truly develop, like how Jaime Lannister started to show why he is who he is in season 3.
As this season (season 4) it's the 2nd half of the 3rd book, I think those that have read the books will be especially interested to how the following seasons unfold.
Basically, as a general rule, the events in the 4th and the 5th books occur simultaneously, but in different areas of the world. So book 4 is set mainly in Kings Landing/Westeros, and book 5 is set mainly on the Wall and across the narrow sea, which ■■■■■■ some people off but I imagine season 5 might be based on both books 4 & 5. Maybe a whole episode in Kings Landing and then another across the ditch. Then again maybe there's so much going on that it will feel like it's too hard to follow if it chops and changes too much. People won't be happy if they don't see Dany for a whole season though...
Attention lovers of good foreign drama, after the ■■■■■■ US remake, the original The Bridge is back for Season 2.
The two key cast members are back, not sure about peripheral cast. Season 2 will run for 10 episodes like the first season.
Here is the synopsis for Episode 1:
A coastal tanker leaves the Öresund waterway and is headed straight for the Øresund Bridge. When the Coast Guard board the ship they discover there is no crew, and three Swedish and two Danish youths are chained below deck. The youths fall rapidly ill, and it soon emerges they‘ve been infected with an extremely aggressive and contagious form of pneumonic plague.
Meanwhile Martin and Mette have separated, and Martin realises he needs to see Jens in prison in order to come to terms with the past. Saga is living together with her boyfriend for the first time.
Season 2 starts Wednesday April 2nd @ 9.30pm on SBS One

I had a look at a new Amazon show, The After, last night.
It's one of about 10 they released pilots for and then let viewers vote for what they wanted to be continued.
It's about a group of about 8 people who get caught in a lift in an LA building while crap is going down outside. They eventually escape and get back to the oldest woman's mansion, and I mean, mansion.
There's a Latina cop, a French actress, the old rich woman (played by Sharon Lawrence who played ADA Sylvia Costas and Mrs Sipowicz in NYPD Blue, a businessman and his hooker girlfriend, a gay clown and a black crim who's angry with everybody.
There's some unspecified civil disorder happening going on, communications are cut, electricity is down, and all the protagonists have 7 March as their birthday.
There's some weird looking naked grey dude at the end, so it looks other-worldly. Supposed to be like Lost.
I wouldn't complain if they kept going but I really want them to keep going with Bosch starring Titus Welliver.
And Dunlop, I thought the US/Mexican The Bridge was OK.

I read the synoposis of what happened in the books, so I was bummed watching it unfold. In doing that the only hope I have now is the youngest Stark girl grows into the most powerful being in the fictional world and kills everyone that wronged her and her family. Sadly seeing the last books haven't been written I won't know if that happens, yet alone see it happen for afew years.
That and I don't Like them killing the wolves off, bastards. Would have been good for the wolves to stay alive and form a formidable wolf pack, similar to a transformers who join together to make one big transformer. Albeit the wolves obviously woulnd't transform into a bigger powerful wolf. Maybe they'd be more like power rangers or something, who knows but the point is, the wolves that have been killed off shouldn't have been.

Just saw the season finale to Walking Dead. Rick - He da man! I know this show has been pretty gruesome but it took the cake tonight.
There's been two decent things happen this season: That scene right there and the Carol/Tyrese episode.
[spoiler]
And because this show has no balls I have a bad feeling that in the season opener we'll find out that the whole Terminus issue was a big misunderstanding and everyone is friends again.
