Didn't think they could improve on Season 1, but it probably started by showing the confrontation between Hannibal and Jack Crawford at the start of Season 2.
We're still in Season 1 and Jack seems to be putting it together. So many ■■■■■■ shows to watch, so little time.
I'm not sure why he's there though. Seems to be a pretty vengeful character to just be sitting around under the noses of those he wants to do away with. Although I think Tyrion really doesn't give a ■■■■■.
He's there on behalf of his elder brother Prince Doran - Crown Prince of Dorne. After Tyrion invited him to a seat on the small council when he sealed a marriage pact between Princess Mercella and Prince Trystane (Doran's youngest son)
That wasn't a spoiler for those who have forgotten :).

Yep, and Dorne are a big player who have a long history and a lot of land, money, soldiers etc.
Oberyn explaned a huge part of the story very quickly when he was speaking 'openly' with Tyrion.
I've 'spoilered' the following but it only mentions what's already been revealed during the 1st 3 seasons, actually most events Ive mentioned happened before the show started, it's history...
The Targaryens (Dany's parents) were the previous rulers of Westeros, before Robert Baratheon took over.
King Robert, along with Ned Stark and the Lannisters etc (Robert's Rebellion) over threw "The Mad King" Aerys Targaryen when they stormed the city of King's Landing.
Basically Oberyn's sister was married to Prince Rhaegar Targaryen and she was killed along with their 2 Targaryen kids by Tywin Lannister's chief henchman "The Mountain" - Sir Gregor Clegane (The Hound's brother, who burnt The Hound's face over a toy when they were kids, according to Littlefinger's story to Sansa).
So the nation of Dorne has issues with the Lannister's, and Princess Myrcella (Baratheon), Joffrey's sister, was sent to Dorne by Tyrion as part of a marriage pact to patch things up, even though she's only 10yo or something.
Anyway, despite all of this Dorne still want "The Mountain's" head, and The Mountain is still in the service of Tywin Lannister.

I thought her scene last night was really hard hitting. I've always considered her a kid and the violence you'd see in her was due to recent events, her envionment, but holy ■■■■ that was cool. It freaked me out a bit, the look in her eye afterwards, I think she liked it.
I believe the song the Lannister soldiers were singing was related to the storming of King's Landing and what happened to Elia Martell, hence why Oberyn got so ■■■■■■.
Bit late to remember now, but there is a new show starting on ABC tonight at 10pm called The Writer's Room. It goes behind the scenes of a popular US show each week to showcase their writer's rooms, interviewing most of the key creative personnel and some actors from the shows - the first episode features Breaking Bad.
Game of Thrones, Parks & Rec, American Horror Story, Dexter are a few of the shows to be featured in upcoming episodes.
Yep.

Possible book spoiler. Do not read if you cannot read a book.
Ummm...I'll assume you've not read book 5 then?? Some, or all, of that information may not be exactly correct...
