TV show thread (2022-?)

That’s very good, but you should spoiler tag it I reckon.

We need a Spoiler thread for this show

Dude, blur that thing!

Done, but geez that’s hardly a spoiler

Haha, yes it is.

A spoiler would be talking about the goat sacrifice.

Oh wait this is the one time that’s true and not a joke. Shiiiiit.

Plot twist, they are all Mark, there are 25 versions of Mark

Can we have a spoiler thread

Never create threads, and not sure how you crosslink, but here you go:

Really good finale.

Washed it down with the latest episode of Reacher, absolute smoothbrain crap I indulge in once per week.

Life’s all about balance etc etc

Ha, I’ll do the latest Reacher episode tonight. This season is at least better than the shambles of season 2.

Had to listen to a Severance podcast last night straight after the finale.

Just finished this.
I didn’t think I’d like it given the premise but once I knew more about how it was filmed it peaked my interest.
It was great, much watch, highly recommend.

^^^ Agree with the above @maxx .

Cannot believe the tight acting in the series nor the lack of edits. That was almost educational. THe school episode, second, is, i can say, mirrors or is even lighter than what happens here. But the reality overall is exeptional.

Thx @Shahid_Afridi

Watched the school episode last night, found out different coloured heart imoji’s mean different things. Now I don’t have to feel weird replying with heart imoji’s on my kids sports WhatsApp groups.

Haha, the things you learn from kids. @2-30 Brunswick^^

I am always early at school ~ 7 ish but there was a student last week too. I teach VCE. Spoke to her as to why, turns out she had been kicked out of a snapchat cotorie she had set up and was the point of violent focus from the class the whole week. Had to move her from the class and monitor the hallways. Never good to find a solution that finds the victim a result of change but sometimes it is all you can do with the paradyms.

Social media ■■■■■ these kids up big time.

So much more i could say

Being a child of the 80’s and never getting into Facebook or Insta the only advice I have for my kids is stay out of the game day thread when we are losing.
I think there really needs to be more education regarding social media at school similar to sex education. It really is a big part of children’s life’s these days, hopefully as young adults become parents there is going to be a lot more quality life advice handed down regarding growing up with this stuff.

^ So true. Biggest problem is the decline and / or change in literacy. Another discussion.

But the socialisation issues around social media are tremendous. Almost all bad. Interactions by and large are good but the frenzy on sm screws with their perspective.
