It’s a great season but anyone else think the tasks are getting weak? I reckon ep 5 were the worst collection of tasks I’ve seen on an episode. Feels like they are running out of ideas (which would be understandable).

I thought the first 9 episodes were fantastic.
But ep 10 just felt flat.
Spoiler - I thought Richie’s end was particularly disappointing. He didn’t have many men and left himself so open which goes against how he was built up throughout the season.
May have been mentioned but Season 4 of The Bear on Disney is out June 26th

Netflix. Matthew Goode was in Downton but this is miles away from that and he does a really good job as a cold case dectective.

Dark City Season 2
5 episodes in. Grity. Sometimes morbid. Lacks imagination with similar storylines. A nice casting of Kim Coates from sons of anarchy.
I hope he can lift this to make it a decent installment.

5 seasons in & its a pretty good show.
I cam see some predictably creeping in, i hope that this season isnt on a slide.
The action is sometimes intense. I feel like a fly on the wall we walk with Jax & how he wants to turn the club around.
Watched the first ep last night. Makes you wonder what the storyline for his new assistant is.
I think I started about 5 series last night, one of which was first shown in 1997 (Beck).
One Welsh (The One That Got Away), one Swedish (Beck), one Norwegian (Pernille), one Scottish (Dept Q)
Dept Q has other episodes of the series filmed in Danish since the author, Jussi Adler-Olsen, is Danish.

All these detective series are ragtag and permutations of the same but this one does it better. Good off-beat casting nad you are right re the assistant… He developes. No spoilers.
Edit: By the bye, only in Scotland can you get this type of nonsense a reality. If you have been there, you will know.

the show lives or dies on the cast so meticulous tasks doesn’t diminish it much. but yeah, horne will need to swallow his pride at some point and lift more tasks from the international versions
One thing I find predictable now is when he’s gonna hand them a second envelope. I could never pick that previously.

Yep, enjoying it but basically 20 minute morsels leaving you hungry. I read it ages ago and I guess it’s an appropriate way of going about it. The Skaarsgards are always good value.

Thats what happens when the showrunner shoehorns his boyfriend into a major role, cuts favourite characters to enable this and completely destroys the souurce material of a beloved franchise.
Such a shame, it could have been great.
