Great news too, a Season 6 is on the horizon 
Meanwhile, the author of Slow, Mick Herron .. he’s a bit of a genius. He also authored Down Cemetery Road too now another excellent mini series just been released on Apple TV+. This time it’s Emma Thompson (looking very healthy these days as a hard nut) and Ruth Wilson (she’s a fav, can’t lie).
Catch that one too if you can.

I did not like the Slow Horses books. At all. Lazy and predictable.
Books are even better- both series.

Vince Gilligan new series starts next week . a sci fi . could be good . Rea sehorn or better call Saul stars in it .

Mrs 10 and I watched that. We’ve both read the books, and they’re not a patch on the Slow Horses, and neither of us liked the show either. We haven’t bothered with any further episodes. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong, but having a highly unlikeable central character doesn’t help.
Similar thoughts here. Got 3/4 through the first ep of Down Cemetery Road and couldn’t go any further. Every review online seems to love it.
Found out yesterday that the lead actress on Apple Cider Vinegar (Kaitlyn Dever) is American. Thinking back to when I watched that I had no idea she wasn’t Aussie. Would have to be the best Australian accent by a foreign actor I can remember.

A properly middling season of taskmaster (season 20) - which is a compliment.
Feel like the tasks have been really strong but the contestants, on the whole, just good.
The shtick of the old man that can’t be arsed (Sanjeev) is and has always been boring.
Reece and Masie very good value.

I have enjoyed this season of taskmaster. Tasks have been good, taken a while for me to get into the cast but I have enjoyed them.
I have always enjoyed the grumpy old contestant that pretends they hate it, but you can tell they are secretly having a great time. Jack Dee did it perfectly
Poor maisie is in the verge of a complete breakdown. She is super competitive but has had an absolute nightmare at times
For me, Phil has felt like the weak link of the series, don’t know why- just haven’t really warmed to him too much
