There are wayyyyyyy worse things that your kids could be watching… Mark Rober is an engineer that worked on the Mars Curiosity rover for NASA and now shares his passion for engineering through YouTube and his Crunchlabs products.
Could very easily be watching Minecraft brain rot…….
Well you stretch it out in one episode of what everyone was expecting to see from the last episode and then cliff hanger into what everyone wanted from two episodes ago, rinse and repeat and we basically do a cycle
If Pluribus season 2 starts filming in let’s say, March 2026, on the early side of spring, 21 months after that would be December 2027. So, even with a filming start date relatively quickly after season 1 here, that would mean the show would return in December 2027, if not early 2028, over two years from now. Even if production time is reduced this time, I don’t imagine it would be much under two years.
However, unlike all those Breaking Bad episodes crammed into about five years, if we’re keeping these gaps between seasons like we’re probably about to see, we could be talking about almost a decade before four seasons would be finished, a tall order even for a patient fanbase. Hopefully, they can reduce production time from here.
Apropos the likely gaps between seasons in Pluribus, it seems to mirror the issues I had watching Better Call Saul. IIRC the gaps between seasons of Saul meant I actually gave up watching until it had all dropped and then binged it. Seems extreme waiting a decade to pull off a similar stunt for Pluribus.
So .. its Christmas.
Apologies, hard to think as such given recent events at a certain eastern Sydney suburban beach.
But, I’ve just re-watched Fishes .. that incredible episode of The Bear set at Christmas with Jamie Lee Curtis etc. whilst Mikey was alive. Phew .. earnt all the awards it received that show .. but that episode !
Still a phenomenal piece of par excellence of a TV show.
Cannot wait for Series 5 in '26 tbh.
I cannot believe that ABC TV still haven’t progressed All Creatures beyond season 4 . Particularly with Christmas here and the UK having just broadcast all of season 6.
