just watched the first episode, was good!
I binged the first 3 episodes today and enjoyed it all, so keep going
I meant in a very, very bad way
Great show. It certainly drops off after the first 4 seasons (becomes a bit formulaic) but thereās never been a better action/thriller show on TV ever, in my view.
The theme is also underrated. The full version is spectacular.
morris is definitely āsell the concept to the execsā casting but i think sheās been alright
conversely iāve found rees a bit annoying
australia has heaps of comedic talent, just not many of them are on telly. just gotta hope ch10 put a bit of faith in future casting instead of constant āsafeā choices
Thatās awesome you can enjoy it for the first time. Iāve forgotten plenty but still remember some of the major twists, but could almost go it again.
even though itās been 20+ years since, the final 10-15 of the last ep of s1 are seared into my memory forever
cracking series
later seasons thereās a few āoh come onā moments but are still good
Are you telling me youāve never watched it until now?!? I thought I knew you.
Yep, I vaguely remember my brother watching the first season when it aired, but I never did
glad I didnāt have to wait a week to watch each new episode. I did that for 6 years when Lost was on tv, and it nearly broke me.
Oh ā ā ā ā watching it weekly and anticipating what was going to happen was like red time goals on repeat all week.
Yep, I always swore after Lost that I wouldnāt been waiting weekly for a new drama/thriller to come out if itās more than 10 episodes
Also the new Death in paradise spin-off Beyond Paradise was very enjoyable
it was at 8;30 monday right? huge adrenaline hits on work/school nights
Correct.
How on earth do people have enough time to watch all this TV. Just keeping up with the odd film is hard enough.
EFA
I do it during work time.
TLOU episode 8
Wow what an ep sucks that next week is the finale this show is ao good
films are garbage now, tv is the medium
Just started on Signora Volpe (Italian for Mrs Fox) starring Emilia Fox as a disenchanted MI6 spy who heads to Italy for her nieceās wedding.
First ep wasnāt too bad.
Another on Acorn TV is The Madame Blanc Mysteries where Sally Lindsay (ex-Coronation St - well, she does sport a strong Manchester accent) plays antiques dealer Jean White (Mme Blanc) who gets involved in the odd kerfuffle in Sainte Victoire.
And a police drama, set in Montpellier on the Mediterranean coast just west of Marseille, called Candice Renoir. Candice has been popping out kids in her husbandās overseas postings for 10 years. Heās exited stage left, and sheās returned to her old job as a police detective. Naturally her team are unimpressed that sheās heading them.
The first two are mostly in English, this oneās all in French.
