Started Succession tonight and got a couple eps in. Egotistical drama with the occasional laugh and moment of cringe.
Seems well worth the watch, if not the hype, for now.
Brilliant end to a brilliant series.
Not unexpectedly Morse did make it through to the end credits.

Would have been some creative writing if he didn’t.
Nice little touch with the two cars crossing at the very end.
Watched the first ep tonight. Nice scenery but I’m not sure I followed it completely.
One thing I always notice in European films and mainstream Latin American shows is how many English-language songs they play.
Not 100% sure what all those packs of euros were about. It looked like you’d live very comfortably in Greece on that money.
And funny how much was shown in the Latin alphabet, as well as Greek characters.
I put it on my list, hopefully will give it a look on the weekend.
Finished Woman of the Dead. Great scenery but the show was meh.
Especially the last episode.

I can only speak for Greece as admittedly that is where I have spent most of my time abroad recently, but I would say anyone my age and under would listen to as much, even if not more English music than Greek. If this is the same in other places that comes as no surprise.
Maybe there’s a lot of Latin because this is set on the island of Corfu, which has a very Venetian influence rather than just Greek. Absolutely beautiful.

Regarding Latin, I was only alluding to the characters, like ABCDEF as opposed to alpha, beta, etc.

Final season of Succession starts tomorrow Mon 27, 12 noon on Showcase. Repeated at 20.30 and on high rotation during the week.
Will be very interesting where this ends up.

I’m re-signing temporarily just for this.
It is but seems only 1 episode at a time. The streaming services have started doing this to generate more money I’m sure. It’s farken annoying and certainly not a binge in this case.
Ta. I anticipated the slow release and don’t mind. Otherwise would stay up tonight watching it which I cannot afford to do! Pumped.

Just finished season one of Shrinking. Really enjoyed it. Quality cast…plenty of laughs, feel good moments and not so feel good moments.

Know the feeling well. I overlooked the fantastic Breaking Bad for nearly a decade.
Trust me, Succession gets better. The backend of S3 is some of the best TV you’ll see.
You’re going to have to work hard to ignore the spoilers that will inevitably be everywhere once this final season gets going.
