US Election - More Division or New Revision? (Part 1)

Origin following election. Blues out early. Maroons (close to red) come back to take the lead. Down to the wire.

That’s the Tweeters extrapolation, … causation not necessarily a fact…

Well you can’t blame the Green this time. The Libertarian got 5x as many.

Oh wait, they probably will anyway.

Take it to the other thread…
Wait…
What thread am I in?

Interesting footnote to the election in CA. It doesn’t have a direct impact on how ‘gig’ workers are treated under the law here in Oz but it will give comfort to these outfits. For the record, I don’t mind ‘gig’ workers being classed as contractors as long as the Principal pays them enough to cover their outgoings. That isn’t the case so far here in Australia.

So looking at NYT

For Nevada, zero votes counted for Lander County.

I think NYT website gone to sleep

Instacart treats workers like garbage. That was a disappointing result.

I was trying to work out how the hell Oregon had got close…

Yeah, the bad guys had a huge win on prop 22, sadly.

Looking at all the Wisconsin counties:

  • Basically all the Democrat counties are now at > 98% counted
  • Number of Republican counties still to be counted: Kenosha (70% counted), Richland (74%), Brown (66%, Green Bay in this county).

Enough votes there for Trump to grab the lead back and but only if the remaining votes break the way they have gone so far.

ha I was thinking about this earlier

no Russia, no greens votes, Bernie campaigned hard, turnout was huge… who’ll get blamed this time?

You need Biden to get in so Yang can go after WWE’s bullshit on their “independent contractors”.

Is there any info on how early / mail in voting has gone?
It’s tough to tell if the remaining count will follow the current percentage splits.

Wisconsin gap has closed slightly: Biden now just over 8K votes in front.

The Brown County (Green Bay) and Kenosha votes will probably determine the outcome.

Trump got MORE votes this time.

There’s no more excuses left. They are a badly run party with bad candidates who run bad campaigns. It’s time for some farking introspection.

crazy close

If it’s down to Brown and Kenosha counties, I don’t like Biden’s chances.
