If they were physical cards I’d be legit tempted

Yes he’s a ■■■■ but also the concept of them is hilarious.

Meanwhile back in the USA…
…“it’s life, Jim, but not as we know it”.

How much of his own money did he use to buy those NFT’s?

I could have put this in the Musk thread but figured it’s more appropriate here:

Ah look at this “free speech absolutist” hanging out with MBS-apologist Kushner at the WC final.

But not the slam dunk.
Because I don’t know why.

What’s the slam dunk?

Ukraine?

Inducing a State representative to corrupt the electoral system.

It’s all there.
On tape.
Treason.

But apparently they’ll ignore that.
They’ll try to connect to him to an insurrection. Which is dodgy at best.

But he literally did try to use his influence to intimidate an official to lie about the results of an election.
That’s indisputable.

I think that’s the conspiracy charge?

Gosh, I hope so.

Correct. The conspiracy to defraud the government charge specifically deals with his phone call looking for votes. You will find they chose that instead of treason because it will be much more likely to stick. Easy to prove he tried to defraud the government, harder to prove it was treason.

Treason is a very narrow and precise charge under the US constitution as far as my limited understanding goes. No US lawyer I’ve heard commenting on these events has suggested it could be in the picture.
