Some bits and pieces I came across.

Why worry about censorship and higher learning when you can just cancel libraries? Far quicker.

Smartmatic are seeking 2.7 billion in their defamation lawsuit against Fox. Hoping this one goes to trial and we see the likes of Rupert and Carlson on the stand. The reality is that theyll pay whatever to avoid that, but as long as it’s a possibility, we can live in hope.

Fox will try to avoid a trial at all costs. If they cannot have the case dismissed then they will do what they can to settle because there’s no way they will risk a NY jury decision, the risk of punitive damages and cross examination of R Murdoch, L Murdoch, Hannity, Carlson etc.

Tapper closed the interview by urging Connolly not to settle: “Don’t forget about the American people. Don’t forget about the people who care about democracy. Don’t forget about the people who care about truth, because we don’t have an ability to sue for those lies. You do, but we don’t, so please don’t forget about us, when you’re when you’re coming up with the end of this case.”

“Thank you very much, sir,” replied Connolly. “We won’t.”

Meanwhile, in the alternate MAGA universe, during his deposition, Mike Lindell said he was never concerned someone might actually win the challenge.

“No, because they have to show it wasn’t from 2020 and it was,” Lindell said, chuckling.

One data analysts at the event stated it was pretty obvious when he looked at Lindell’s data and went about proving the data was NOT from the 2020 election…

Um, was this posted and I missed it???

From that article:

Kennedy Jr. is a longtime vaccine skeptic. He has promoted discredited claims linking vaccines and autism and founded the anti-vaccine organization Children’s Health Defense. He has also railed against the coronavirus vaccine and has criticized the federal government’s handling of the pandemic.

In 2019, three members of his family – his sister Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, brother Joseph P. Kennedy II and niece Maeve Kennedy McKean – forcefully denounced his anti-vaccine views

And from the subsequently-linked 2022 article:

At a rally against vaccine mandates in Washington, DC, on Sunday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. likened vaccine policies in the US to the actions of a totalitarian state, even suggesting Anne Frank was in a better situation when she was hiding from the Nazis.

“Even in Hitler Germany (sic), you could, you could cross the Alps into Switzerland. You could hide in an attic, like Anne Frank did,” said Kennedy, a prominent anti-vaccine advocate, in a speech at the Lincoln Memorial. “I visited, in 1962, East Germany with my father and met people who had climbed the wall and escaped, so it was possible. Many died, true, but it was possible.”

Kennedy’s historically inaccurate anti-Semitic remark ignores the fact that Frank and some 6 million other Jews were murdered by Nazis. Frank, who was a teenager at the time, hid in an attic in the Netherlands, not Germany, before she was caught and was sent to a concentration camp, where she died.
