I donât know of anyone who regularly posts in the US politics thread who loves the Dems or Joe Biden. We just accept them as the only alternative as the head of the worldâs preeminent power to a truly horrifying political party

Firstly, most of us didnât say Joe was fine. We said weâd want to see more evidence than one person carrying tales.
Secondly, if you have evidence of Joe Biden being corrupt or dodgy please show it. Iâm not personally aware of any. So frankly, comparing Biden to Trump seems pretty partisan and inaccurate.

I suspect just about any president from Reagan onwards has probably done some corrupt â â â â . The system more or less allows it, especially as regulations become more lax and the corporate money thrown around gets into obscene amounts of money. Quite frankly Iâm not sure I trust the character of most people who run for it, these days.
Of course, â â â â â â policy is one thing. Throwing tantrums about losing elections and arranging for a coup attempt is, well, something else.
I just wish we set a higher bar for ourselves than ânot Trumpâ.

The group concluded its takedown by declaring that âtoxic nationalism has no place in a publicly owned venue,â and that the First Amendment âdoesnât protect the incitement of political violence nor obligate taxpayers to platform hate speech like antisemitism.â

The numbers turning up to Trump rallies could be wildly overestimated. There was one rally that MAGA claimed an audience of 7k, others saying it was in the low hundreds.
