I’m pretty sure illegal immigrants have been entering the US through all borders, North, South, East and West, for the last hundred years or so.
Trump makes it sound like it didn’t happen under him. FFS, stop the fear mongering and try to improve the lives of those in Central America. Perhaps start with tariff reductions

c) if Trumps numbers are lower than Obamas, then really it just goes to show how ineffective Trump actually was at deporting illegals…
Try harder.
What doesn’t get covered in the immigration debate is the push factors that are resulting in mass migration. There are a lot of positive things that could be done in South America to make it attractive for people to remain at home. Most of the migration is due to these external factors, rather than the policies of any particular President.
Not everything needs to be solved through harshness. But sadly that doesn’t cut through.

I don’t go near X if I can help it and certainly don’t have a clue who this is or whether it’s a parody account or not. If not it appears that he’s now trying to claim he was taking the ■■■■ the whole time. Either way the level is infantile. These people get paid.
Its poor form and shows what they thought going in to the debate.
But it’s really no different to a lot of newspapers etc, that have pre filled articles already written, just got to change date etc.
E.g waiting for Rupert Mudoch to die, so when he does can just publish it.
Or James Hird being sacked etc.

The US has had a series of arrangements with Mexico to manage migration ( including transit caravans):but there are so many crossings, it can’t be prevented, even with a wall .
According to the American Immigration Council, under a Trump negotiated protocol, 70k were deported. The Biden Administration suspended that protocol, in part because of severe human rights abuses. A modified protocol was reinstated.

It’s a very well known parody account. But yeah, there’s lots of ignorant people in the US that take it seriously.

Ignoring the fact that most illegal immigration in the U.S occurs due to visa overstays, the “border crisis” is in many cases penance owed by the U.S for their meddling in Latin American affairs. Places like Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua have still not recovered from American intervention in the 20th century.
