The CBP One app seems pretty unrelated to the hype around it.
It does one thing. If you are in Mexico and want to claim asylum, you have to request an appointment via the app. You submit all your identification paperwork, which makes processing faster but also has human rights issues. 1400 appointments are available each day and are issued randomly. If you don’t get selected, you request again the next day until you get an appointment.
It doesn’t function within the US. Only Mexico.
It gets you an appointment for asylum review, it doesn’t grant it or give you a path to citizenship.
So basically, a pretty standard US politics thing where politicians lie and exaggerate to a voter base that won’t do a 2 minute google search.
He brings a sparkling personality and a readiness to take in new information outside his previous understanding and respond to other posters in a respectful and constructive manner.
What do you bring to the thread other than trying to Police anything that is remotley negative towards Kamala? What does the rest of the biased posters in the thread bring to the table other than barrckin for their team?
He’s a troll because you don’t agree with his opinion? But you abusing him for his opinion is ok in your books and sets the right precident on how people should act?
Swallow down that burning anger of the fact people don’t see the world the same way, and move on. No one is forcing you to interact with him.
That doesn’t make him a troll. There are other posters who , after being corrected on the facts, come up with yet another Wotabout in their bag of tricks.
None of them are interested in a discourse.
Then, there are other posters, who, if they don’t like posts that don’t fit their own narrative, resort to personal abuse.
I’m acting like the sooky child when you’ve resorted to abuse and calling him a troll because you don’t agree with an opinion? You’re not his master and he is not beholden to you, he’s not obligated to respond to your demands regardless of how much you stomp and certainly not after you abuse him.
If you don’t like the opinion, no one is forcing you to respond. Put him on ignore and save yourself the brewing hatred that comsumes you, or maybe try and lead the way in respectful disagreement without resorting to abuse?
That is what makes him a troll…and it’s something he is frequently called by quite a number of posters on this thread.
I have no problem with people disagreeing with me or my opinions.
In fact I like to be challenged if someone legitimately thinks that my view on a topic is wrong.
If you take the time to go back through my (attempted) discourse with Bomber1408, you’ll find that I call him out and provide links/evidence to back up my view(s).
He doesn’t do that…whenever he gets called out (and shown where he is wrong), he just ignores that post and goes on to his next attempt at derailing the thread.
If you disagree with the above, you’ve got 4000+posts in the thread to prove me wrong.

Pretending to be morally superior than all those “Trump scumbag supporters” whilst hurling out abuse yourself because you didn’t like a difference of opinion… I’ll take my nose bleed and you can prove the point there there really is nastiness on both sides and the harsh truth that they are really no better than those they think are awful.

Phew. It’s 4am here. My dog woke up sick. And I opened this thread. Now, in addition to worrying about app clicking illegal migrants eating said dog, I have to worry that they will become citizens post-haste and, obviously as they are all brown or black, vote Democrat.
