US politics - is weird (part 6)

So we all have to care about what “Daddy-0” says.

But he says “Who cares”. (sic)

This leads us into an existential logical trap.

We can invent our own realities and get angry at everyone else who decides not to live in them.

Cool.

I reject anyone who rejects the reality that we have won every flag since 2000.

How far will that get me? (Especially since our current coach will be the first to disagree seeing his personal experience. Oops, another existential logical trap).

You’ll need to use some AI generated pictures and spread them to as many people as possible.

It depends on how convincing those images are and how many people you’re able to convince as a result.

Anyone who doesn’t agree with you is either “woke” or a “Nazi” depending on your political leanings (or which group you can grift the most money from).

Conspiracy theory about digital clouds hiding airbases becomes proof to MTG that weather is being manipulated for nefarious purposes.

So people whose opinions you don’t agree with are labeled trolls. You should apply for a job at the new ministry for misinformation, you would fit right in

Thanks mate …. I am not a troll, for the 2 or 3 in the campaign trying to get me the flick; if you can’t handle other people with differing opinions then your own, you have a problem between your ears… seek help

What proof of identity and documentation does it require? As far as I can tell you can upload a selfie and no identity documents at all and still get an appointment.
Seems like in practice, you go to Mexico, take a selfie, apply on the app each day until you get an appointment and then upon meeting with whatever border personnel you claim your life was threatened and you need asylum even if it’s not true and then they let you in to the USA and fly you to whichever state you chose in the app where you are provided food/money/housing (unclear how much or for how long) until your asylum case can be processed which takes an absurdly long time.

What’s the lie or exaggeration that is refuted by a 2 minute google search?

As a US citizen, I am honestly intrigued by your claims.

Can you please share reputable resources or links (please, no Daily Mail articles!) that show the full depth of your claims? Not just how the app process works, but also the post border processing support that you say exists for migrants coming into this country. It’s an honest question. I want to learn more.

Instead of conjecture, why don’t you google official sources and NGOs to establish the facts and practice. Asylum seekers USA will take you to a range of authoritative sites that you could inform you, as the alternative to seizing on a worst case scenario.

Didn’t have that on my bingo card for this shitshow

Part of the Vote Trump campaign. He’s not opposed to abortion, just doesn’t want the Washington Swamp to regulate it.

I don’t know a whole lot about this topic, which is why I’m asking for clarity. But I’ve found this from a quick search.

Refugees in America | International Rescue Committee (IRC).

"Once refugees have been cleared for resettlement, the U.S. government works with the IRC and eight other national resettlement agencies to help them restart their lives in America.

Refugees may be placed in a city where they have relatives or friends, or where there’s an established community that shares their language or culture. Other considerations include the cost of living and access to medical services. However, as legal U.S. residents, refugees may ultimately live in any state they choose."

“Agencies are responsible for finding a suitable, affordable home for refugee families, something many of these refugees have gone without for years. Families also receive basic furnishings, food and other immediate assistance.”

Have you checked how refugee status is achieved? Asylum seekers who have not been assessed against UN definitions as refugees are in a different category. Some are placed in detention.

“Migrants in Mexico have made more than 64.3 million requests to enter the U.S. using a smartphone app that the Biden administration has tried to establish as the main gateway to the American asylum system at the southern border, internal federal government documents obtained by CBS News show.
In the first year of the program’s implementation, migrants used the phone app, known as CBP One, tens of millions of times to apply for a coveted appointment to be processed by U.S. immigration authorities at an official border crossing, according to the internal documents. So far, nearly 450,000 migrants have been allowed into the U.S. under the process, the documents show.”

@Tyler the above details all information fields required to be filled in. The CBP would have an API to their departmental holdings to assist with verification.

I have found a few articles/pages saying they are vetted extensively by various agencies but nothing specific as to what they need to provide as proof of needing asylum so far. Do you how they determine refugee status or how they decide who they let in and who is sent to detention etc?

The app does not determine asylum applications. It is a scheduling tool. A very intensive process is undertaken separately to the app to determine eligibility for asylum…

Searches will include US data holdings, interviews with applicants, checking original documentation etc. A app isn’t making a decision about asylum claims.
