US politics - never go full Project 2025 (part 8)

MTG leading the proceeding is an interesting choice. I did genuinely laugh out loud at the “photobomb” at the end there

That.
Simply.
Cannot.
Be real.

Edit: I don’t believe it’s real.

Looks like it was fake.

Not having a go, but I’m glad you deleted.

‘Yeah, but that you’re not sure is scary, right?’, isn’t reason enough. There’s satire and then there’s disinformation and things like that cross the line, imo.

I don’t like putting up fake stuff, if I find out it is I’ll remove it.
There’s enough weird ■■■■ this administration does without needing to embellish on it.

Although I did find this amusing, I also found it quite disturbing in that the chairperson of a government committee so blatantly lies…and basically gets away with.

Sure she gets called out…but she should be getting pilloried by every serious member of that committee, every serious congressperson and the media.

And yet it seems like it was just left to a late night show host to do the job of those previously mentioned.

Ah yeah, more threats aimed at the courts , and another conjuring of an invented “invasion”.

“Nothing will change.”

If the Pope can’t cause Trump to disappear, surely it’s proof that God doesn’t exist.

One Pope vs over 100 million MAGAt god-botherers…

God: “What the hell is it this time?”

The Pope is just another bloke in a frock, no hotline to god, whatever she is

Reportedly, one of the reasons for the sacking of the Librarian of the Library of Congress was that the Library kept books unsuitable for children

Zuckerberg is already doing that.

I can’t even being to think that I could ever read an AI-authored book.
