US politics - never go full Project 2025 (part 8)

Not everyone voted for Trump so those that didn’t want his fascist policies have a democratic right to protest
Land of the Free… and all that
Trump’s actions are OTT IMO but maybe he’s trying to distract from another of his regime’s failures.

Donald is back to calling US citizens ‘animals’. Checking Nazi handbook, yep. Dehumanise them, when the deaths start happening they were just vermin, maybe even elevate a murderer to national hero status? Worked last time. Much better organised this time, engineered the riots and learned some sweet tricks from the BLM events.

Sorry Elon, nothing short of total unreserved apology and admission of lying and purchase of $500M of Trump Meme coins is going to prevent the wrath of Trump destroying Tesla, and cancelling Spacex contracts.

You really don’t get to say, ‘whoopsie, I was a little harsh calling the President a pedophile.’

Edit: on reflection, the tool does have form with that.

The Trump regime has it all wrong. ( or has he)

Best Standard practice for dictators is to create an enemy from outside the country. OK, he got it right originally, with propaganda about in transit migrant caravans, building a waĺl to keep them out etc. That, if done well encourages unification of the people.

But now the Trump regime has nuanced that and now is trying to remove immigrants, and even end birthright citizenship. This creates division, it encourages violence.

You can only conclude that the Trump regime wants to make the situation so bad, he can invoke the Insurrection Act, which we know was subject of consideration in the dying days of the last Trump administration. If that is the case, we can expect more and more divisive action, to get to the point where the insurrection act can reasonably be invoked.

  1. The absence of due process
  2. The very obviously targeted sweeps on blue states.

It’s actually that simple.
