The South African Ambassador to the US has been declared persona non grata and was given 3 days to leave the country.
The Spox for the Secretary of State said he had made a disrespectful comment about Trump, which broke all diplomatic protocols. Worse, he represents a government which practises racial discrimination and is a leader in BRICS, which is set up to undermine the US, including in regard to the USD as the currency in world commodity trade.
Further, South Africa’s role in the ICJ case against Israel served to undermine the USA.
( White South Africans could probably get refugee status in USA).

Trump’s popularity is very low is what you’re saying, according to a poll. But his supporters like him more than last time and they like the stuff he’s saying he’ll do but isn’t really doing, which is I think your over arching thesis, even though he is actually doing them and people are literally dying and institutions that keep the country and the world running and supporting its most vulnerable and conducting its most vital sciences, are being irreparably damaged. So the same carnts who voted for him and forgave all his massive failings and crimes are still doing that. BREAKING NEWS

it doesn’t really matter now how unpopular he is, nobody else will govern for a very long time . he’s going to make sure if that . he’s already had musks mystery doge tech guys invade all the systems already , he will bully enough people to change the constitution , whatever it takes . America is cooked. if only either of those 2 assination attempts had not failed . I reckon someone else will end up doing the job right eventually but it depends on how much he’s already rigged the systems . for a guy that cried about rigging for 4 years he’s doing a fine job of rigging

Vance will be the next president. Depending on what apparatus/personnel he retains around him my feeling is we’ll look back on the Trump years as kooky and just a bit deranged by comparison to the dark reign of the chubby emo.

Trump’s latest Executive action - Removing Discrimination and Discriminatory Equity Ideology from the Foreign Service - will result in a purge of US civil servants representing the US abroad. And it will make it harder to recruit and appoint.
His Memorandum is directed to the Secretaries of Departments and Heads of Agencies involved in representation at the international level ( State, Agriculture, Commerce, International Development and Global Media, but not Treasury). In addition to bilateral Embassies and Consulates, US representation at the UN and other international organisations will be hit, including the WTO ( USTR now comes under Commerce)

I imagine in their minds this means more white men who’ve never left the US representing the US in delicate relations with other countries and advancing the interests of US citizens from “all walks of life” by being forceful, uncompromising and our way or the highway (using a translator of course).
