US politics - The ICE epidemic (part 10)

All well and good for Iceland fast-tracking but shouldn’t Ukraine get first dibs?

Iceland had a crack at it before during the financial crisis of 2009, but pulled out in 2013.
They’ve got most of the conditions already met, so it’s an easy lift compared to Ukraine.

Gotta laugh. Thats when my other footy team, West Ham, were owned by one of Iceland’s biggest companies/richest men, they just got relegated and the bombers hit rock bottom.

It’s a fair comment, I love my country too and would much prefer to be here rather than stuck in a jail cell in another country.

Yeah like it would be easy to move those millions of international travelers that arrive or depart at LAX, San Fransico, O’Hare, JFK or Logan to some god forsaken red state?

Is this basically like our super but for kids, with parents contributing and you claim it when your 18?

I’m guessing a lot of families already do this in a private capacity to save for college for their children. I’m also guessing the government want a big slush of money like our industry super funds? Just trying to work out why Trump is doing this.

It’s a way for Trump to channel taxpayers money into propping up the stock prices of companies run by his political allies. Not much more than that.

$1000 to every kid born, invested in ASX ETF can’t touch until 18.
