CNN: “Trump is considering removing Jeanine Pirro over a DOJ conclusion that problems with the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool stemmed from a flawed renovation rather than vandalism. The president is ‘furious’ with Pirro, one of the sources said, telling CNN that he fumed about her all weekend. They added that based on his criticisms of her, they find it ‘highly likely she’s removed from her job.
Perfectly normal behaviour. Focussed on the right things.
Pirro has to present evidence in court. Obviously values her law license.
Yes Donald, your people have been posting it. It’s an employee trying to clean it, one of your government’s employees. Truly they are asking you to disbelieve your eyes. Not even doctoring the movie. ANd the supporters are furiously agreeing that what they are seeing is ANTEEEFA with a box cutter. A ■■■■■■■ stanley knife on a pole.
Just when you think that Trump and his family couldn’t be more corrupt and dumb at the same time you hear about something like this and apparently it is not the only bank that has closed Trump accounts for the same suspected money laundering reasons.
TLDR: A bank, Capital One closed more than 300 Trump-affiliated accounts in 2021 “for anti-money laundering (’AML’) reasons,” after “months of analysis and a careful review” by its AML team. Reuters called it the first time a bank has formally tied money-laundering concerns to President Donald Trump’s family business.
The disclosure surfaced only because the Trump Organization sued. Capital One says federal bank-secrecy law would otherwise have barred it from revealing those findings, and that the reason went public only because the plaintiffs chose to litigate. No leak. No whistleblower. The Trump family and businesses pulled the truth out themselves with this lawsuit, and now they own it.
Blanche Deal:
- Trump, his sons, and the Trump Organization are now shielded from paying more than $100 million in back taxes under a deal negotiated by his own Justice Department. You have to pay back taxes. They do not. At 11:09 p.m. Sunday, just before Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee vote on his confirmation, acting Attorney General Todd Blanche released two DOJ documents meant to satisfy holdout senators Thom Tillis and John Cornyn. But these are unilateral DOJ memos, not an amended settlement, and the original May 19 agreement explicitly states it “may be modified only with the written agreement of the Parties.” Sunday’s package contains no signatures from Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, or the Trump Organization, meaning the actual contract governing their audit protections remains legally untouched. What changed isn’t the deal itself but merely DOJ’s stated interpretation of it, a distinction with real legal weight since interpretations aren’t binding and can shift again at any time.
Amazing what relatively trivial matters it takes to make these creeps turn on the bloated maniac, all the other stuff “nah, she’ll be right”
If it makes Trump look wrong or stupid (not hard, I know), then every effort is made to discredit and undermine those that state the obvious.
Gotta say, I’ve got no qualms with them trying to make the yen stronger. Earning the yen as a salary hasn’t been much good of late.
The Japanese have been selling off US bonds like they’re covered in orange dookies
Hasn’t the judge already nullified that deal?
We’re planning to come back next year and i really want to load up. But I’m resisting the urge in case our plans change.
