yes it was done on purpose. It was meant to be seen, unlike the Shdeey and Mosquito draft board where we were picking up Menegola from Cats and potentially Brayden Cook.
what about the YEN free carry trade?
The US has for decades had a policy of running up debt then when it gets high do “quantitative easing” to run the currency down, pay off debt at reduced rates then back to business as normal.

Yeah it’s been pretty weak of late, must suck for you guys living there.
I’ve been stockpiling. I’ll either use it when I travel there again (likely) or sell when the Yen strengthen/AUD crashes.

Abdul El-Sayed looks like he will win the primary in Michigan.
It’s slightly concerning for the general as Michigan could decide who controls the senate at the midterms. I’m not sure Abdul El-Sayed as a progressive can win that.

Early days but it’s looking like a landslide for AES. This is despite AIPAC dropping $30m on Steven’s campaign.
These are very good results, unless you’re a part of the Democratic establishment.
Reminder that Michigan went for Bernie in 2016, a progressive senator there is not a long shot by any means.
