US politics - The ICE epidemic (part 10)

I guess when it comes to questions on Trump’s behaviour, the only sensible thing to do is wait and see.

Thats true, but none of them you would trust in charge of a milk bar.

I don’t know why you guys are jumping to conclusions.

Has Trump ever said anything that suggests he’s into underage girls? Well, yes.
Did he have a very close relationship with the world’s most notorious underage sex trafficker? Okay, also yes.
But is there any evidence that man ever used his clients information for blackmail? I mean…a bit, yes.
But did he ever discuss anything with Russian agents who specialised in that sort of thing?

From a national security POV you would think Western governments have quietly tasked their intelligence services to discover just how bad this.

According to the Steele dossier:

Western governments appear to have done sweet ■■■■ all investigating until the last week or so where a number have stated that they will be looking into potential espionage/profiteering following the Mandelson revelations.

Hard to know what’s really happening tho. They wouldn’t want to advertise that they are looking into Epstein’s dealings with foreign agencies to substantiate the level of risk in sharing sensitive info with the Trump administration.

The scale of all this is kinda mind-blowing if you take it to its logical conclusion.

We don’t know what / if previous investigations have occurred.

We do know that the UK and Poland (amongst others) have announced investigations in the last week given the Mandelson and Putin info in the files.

IMO, many governments would not have investigated to not bring things to light.

Similar to what is happening in the US.

Once you start to comprehend the likely scale of this, and the extent of leverage over political and business elites, it becomes understandable that (in particular) US investigators would run a mile.

100%.

Other countries know there was non-US people involved with Epstein with the contacts he had across many governments and financial institutions and other bodies.

None, to my knowledge, have announced they have previously investigated possible connections to their citizens.

Reason: Deniability and no public follow up for outcomes.

I think Tyler is saying we should “wait and see”.

It’s definitely not good that he was friends with Epstein and has tried to stop them being released but if there was a smoking gun in there I think the democrats would have used it to stop him being reelected.

The only problem with smoking guns is that they can sometimes have a hell of a recoil.

He’s had plenty of time for the DOJ to take their time and redact anything incriminating. One of the problems with how Trump goes about things you just can’t trust anything he has anything to do with. Deliberate or not.

So, he’s innocent because the democrats would’ve ‘weaponised’ the files? Almost word for word from trumps personal lawyers press conference this week.
