I unblocked you.
Those people have publicly been threatened so I’m not sure why it would be a surprise.

Come on…if you’re going to engage in a serious discussion on this point, then you must know that Trump has threatened these people at various times so don’t act as if there is not a reasonable cause for Biden to issue preemptive pardons.
He seems to hate Cheney, bad blood there.
Mayorkas it’s just about his lax border, which is really under Biden’s / Harris Direction anyway.
Fauci could reasonably defend himself over covid, as it was Trumps plan to warp speed the response.

Wonder why they changed their mind
I repeat, what crimes?
If America had M4A, the UnitedHealth CEO (and many, many others) would still be alive.
I certainly under no circumstances advocate for what happened; a man lost his life needlessly.
But UnitedHealth, among so many others, have fostered a climate where there will be people who have been chewed up and spit out by the American health system who are out of options and may have seen themselves or their loved ones essentially left hanging out to dry with terminal or incurable illnesses that they won’t treat. A person who is desperate and helpless may be moved to administer what they perceive as “justice” in extreme forms.
Most Americans are one medical emergency away from bankruptcy. The sad thing is that so few of them know it.
Good post. The horror is there are so many who know this and watch as a washed out moronocracy vote for a ‘businessman’ who will figure it all out for them. They ate the wrong sand and drank the wrong urine, again
It just staggers me that America doesn’t have affordable health care and a safety net for poor/disadvantaged people.
It’s a racket, and people are getting rich. Filthy rich. And they’ve bought off the lobbyists and the entire US government, so nothing changes, unless the corporations themselves approve it (like Obamacare).
Private health insurance lobby in Australia would love to have the US system.
I’m honestly surprised the Morlock thing doesn’t happen more often.
Almost like need to RFK to help fix it.
Whether it happens or not.
Something happened last night at work, I didn’t see it, I just noticed it, that made me think about the US health system and our health system.
Someone of no fixed address came in with a cut bad enough that it will need surgery.
And they’ll get it.
Maybe today, maybe tomorrow, but they’ll be in a ward ‘til it happens.
And it won’t cost them a cent.
*not a doctor and I don’t know exactly how things work over there, whether they’re allowed to refuse service, or what happens.
But, I dunno…
It made me feel pretty good about things here.
And achieving even that very unsatisfactory change took a once-in-generation motherlode of political capital, and a sustained willingness to burn it.
Not going to happen again for the foreseeable future.
No you are wrong.
Trump has a concept of a plan for healthcare. He has been working on it for about 8 or 9 years and it will be unveiled in about two weeks I believe (I think he said two weeks anyway).
He’s been saying that time period since prior to the 2016 election.
Two weeks for him is his version of “the cheque’s in the mail”
AOC move is interesting.
IMO, she should be able to cut through the Trump word salad press conferences with devastating efficiency.
Cue popcorn
70 million Maga nuffies don’t care about his rambling nonsense. Cutting through it is irrelevant.
