Absolutely agree. They should be leading the way. I believe the US government spends more on healthcare per capita than anywhere else but they are very unhealthy and have no universal healthcare ie like our Medicare. It’s a sad indictment on the US

It’s bloody great for the rest of us though! I always thank my yank friends, they pay more than everyone else does for new pharmaceuticals AND they provide the testing grounds for them. Works out great for us!

Well Trumps got another headache waiting for him. Whether to bail out GM, and probably Ford as well this time. I guess he will just ask Elon what to do.

Religion is essentially about self: its your resort in a world of chaos. Its the place where you can escape to in a search for meaning, when really tĥere is none. You want to pray to a god, go ahead, if it makes YOU feel better. Just dont expect it to make a difference to anyone or anything else.
Give me a life with no illusions. Atheism is fine with me.
As to the USA, its one of the most fanatically religious countries in the world, where they worship gun violence and murder their fellow citizens at a high rate.

True story.
Happened yesterday…in a catholic church no less.
Met a woman that i see 3 or 4 times a year.
She worked in the cafeteria of where i worked 35 years ago in dandy.
Fast forward…70yo now lives at snake valley , bum out of her pants , no money ,rents, on some sort of pension.
Pleasant personality , quite , sings hyms badly in church.
Introduced mum to her at the end of mass and 2 plate collections.
Asked how she was…
ALBO IS AN ASS , TOO MANY INDIANS AND THE ABORIGINALS NEED TO STOP BEING VICTIMS…OH AND WE NEED TRUMP HERE TO SAVE US !
