What is your actual question?
How much did George Soros contribute to the democrats for the 22 midterms?
George Sorosā backed nonprot invested at least $140 million into politically charged
nonprots just one year before the midterm elections.
Those donations are on top of the more than $170 million Soros personally contributed
during the 2022 midterm election cycle to help Democratic campaigns and political action committees.
The Soros nonprot separately donated approximately $60 million to charitable 501(c)(3)s which are prohibited from participating in politics.
Thatās coolā¦my post was in response to Houliās nitpicking of donation of $5k to a CalMatters.
Personally, Iād love to see a situation where political donations were limited to about $5-$10k and made public for everyone to see.
Maybe then we might get pollies who couldnāt be bought.
Also, does Soros own (and run, and use as his personal soapbox) some sort of multinational communications network?
I meanā¦I guess heās invested in some, but itās not really the same thing, is it.
Gaslighting 101
Donāt forgot how many media companies Soros owns.
I think Musk has developed those products as the best on the market currently. It should be no surprise if his companies get awarded large contracts.
He should still have the largest contract for remote user starlnk service in the USA. $46 billion was awarded to other providers to lay fiber. SpaceX was going to cost a tenth of that. To date not 1 person has been connected. Biden saw to it that it was revoked. Trump should see that it is rightfully reinstated.
I might be on a wrong āun, but I was referring to donators and conflicts of interest.
Or using them as influence.
I donāt think Soros is analogous to Musk.
Murdoch probably is.
Soros is comparable to the Kroc family, I guess?
Maybe Iām not being clear, but I thought it was an odd name to pull out.
Edit: well yes, I have forgotten how many Soros owns. Can you enlighten me? Not having a go, GQ.
Soros recently bought over 200 unless Iām mistaken.
I donāt see him owning X being any different to owning any other media company. I guess he just made a better choice that amplifies his voice and influence.
ADD:
I wish he didnāt buy X or was involved politically. Can very well impact his businesses if political winds change.
I maintain itās a little different but cool cool cool.
Well in that case, why doesnt GN sue trump the lying orange piece of ā ā ā ā .
Play the old ā ā ā ā at his own game.
So why are the media not challenging trumpnon this???
Because the US has this pesky little thing about presidents being immune from civil prosecution (not talking about the Supreme Ruler courtsā decision re immunity). And since Dump won the election he is essentially free to do whatever the ā ā ā ā he pleases without any risk of consequence.
Because right now, every anti-Trump voice in the US is waiting for the guillotine to fall on their necks when the great orange buffoon takes power. He has already basically threatened to ā ā ā ā up every media organisation that doesnāt toe the line.
On the poll, hind sight is an amazing after the facts, and events have unfolded.
Pretty sure wild fires are not generally in winter.
Then why are the media siding with dump and not doublind down on him making ā ā ā ā up, highlight thatbhe is not fit to serve.
Like we all know already.
Come on Heff she was supposes to be holding a hoseā¦ apparently
Pretty sure the miniscule shortfall wouldāve been more than made up by the hundreds of Canadian firefighters who risked everything to protect a lot of rich peopleās houses in the country thatās currently shittting on them and treating them like a mentally challenged distant cousin.
Funny that you immediately assumed I was referring to you Lawry. Insecure much fella? Genuine question.
Not one bit insecure around you much fella. I never said you were referring to me. Just that you returned to your usual MO.
You appeal the conviction before sentence even in USA. Doubt you would appeal a sentence that gives no penalty.
