USAID was last audited in December. Apparently all gov’t agencies were. Who carries out the audits? The inspectors general… yes, the ones who all got fired.
The pentagon has failed an audit every year for 7 straight years, but nobody wants to shut them down.
I suppose the real issue is why are we using an agency that is less than 1% of the total budget as a reason to go scorched earth on everything and fire thousands of people.

I’ve just been catching up on the news regarding the USAID situation.
WTAF.
Genuinely this is a hostile take over of the US Government by the Richest man in the world…… and nearly half of the country is applauding it.
He has a team of bros in their early 20’s walking into Government buildings and shutting down operations…… and sacking all staff on the spot. Including staff who are currently working in war zones, and shutting down their access to devices.
It’s going to be the Education department next
