Back your posts up with quotes.

But I see you were liking all lolfyers posts calling people *tards so I’m not surprised you’ve sided with your fellow buddy calling people offensive slags.

Sigh. One last time.
It’s a thread about American politics & politicians. It would be better to direct your outrage towards their offensive behaviour than towards other posters.

And I didn’t say many of us do what Trump Jnr did. I said many of us get side-tracked into discussing one another.

FWIW I generally like Loflyer’s posts & choice of language, but prefer not to see 'tard used. Again though, there are far worse things going on in the US more worthy of your outrage.

It’s so easy with you

You don’t appear to have objected to various *tards in the past (quite rare, mostly of the lib variety, and mostly quoting or sarcastically-semi-quoting the right).

I searched function the lib variety and could only find again lolfyer using the phrase and Donmania from ages ago. Please direct me to the poters that used the word so I can condemn them also without question.

How is that a good thing? Who will benefit & how?

officially

Jan6 rioters are sad that the USA doesn’t follow the constitutional process any more.

Still with a 4 million vote lead in the popular vote too.
Plus flipping the senate
Plus a likely house majority

As i mentioned last week. This isnt just a rejection of Harris but the democrat party as a whole

It’s a great thing for democracy. It’s a great :fu: to all the tryhard moral compasses out there who want a population of sheep to follow their own specific views and needs.

Another lesson that the media HQ in New York and/or LA don’t control the narrative.

For a “too close to call” election this time last week (:joy:) … it’s a massacre.

I think it’s obvious that you’ve liked lolfyers posts and “choice of langauge” in the past when he’s consistently used disparraging remarks, abusiuve and offensive slags to people he doesn’t agree with, and that’s not including the “swallowing Trumps load” remarks and commenting how Vance “likes to ■■■■ furniture”. It’s obvious why you’re making excuses for him and his reherotic, you’re letting him off the hook for being offensive to people with disabilities whilst also sooking about Donald Trump Jnr.

And that’s fine, you can agree with him, but please no more BS about how you hate abusive, sexist or racist behaviour from you from now on, otherwise you’re a bigger part of the problem by not calling it out. Hows that car wash going?

How is having one party control head of state, house, senate & supreme court (not to mention information flow via X) good for democracy, esp. when they have plans to fill the PS and judiciary with loyalists? Sounds like the opposite of ‘good for democracy’.

I guess it’s good for the nation if that’s what they wanted, as it makes it easier for them to get their policies through without it being contested. And what are “loyalists” and how does it differ from regular parties installing their own “loyalists” or members, and if it’s only specific to one party, then what do Democrats fill them with? Traitors? Or is that a phrase intended to infer a dictatorship? This is an actual question too.

The people have had their say. And done so emphatically.

It doesn’t match your own personal political views so therefore it’s undemocratic? Not sure that’s how it works… but you are one of many (including the Hollywood ‘elite’) at the moment who seem a bit blurred on the issue.

Sounds like you are a culture warrior.
I asked how Trump’s victory is good for democracy & gave you some solid reasons why it is not. I don’t think ‘the people have had their say’ is an adequate answer.

A bit?!

Looks like it’s woodwork day. Have fun with your tools boys, this place is becoming one of those dreaded echo chambers…

Geez I thought the story about the FEMA supervisor instructing aid workers to skip houses with Trump signs in Florida was just another one of their nonsense beatups…

Turns out it wasn’t and she’s been fired.

Because the people had their say. Thats exactly how democracy works and unlike the last time when he lost the popular vote to Hillary the majority actually did vote for Trump.
