Look, we all lie, probably every day we lie, we lie to our kids, we lie to our spouses, we lie to our friends. We lie about the little things and the big things.

So whats exceptional about Donald Trump? He lies. Actually he is just like the rest of us.

Why do we expect a real estate businessman, upon elevation to the highest office to suddenly stop lying?

Do we deserve better than pathological liars in political office?

Apparently its actually in the constitution of the USA, its the Right of Free Speech.

Thanks your majesty

“If Trump succeeds in canceling the tolls, he will strip more than $15 billion the MTA planned to spend on crucial upgrades to the city’s transit systems.

“Since this first-in-the-nation program took effect last month, congestion has dropped dramatically and commuters are getting to work faster than ever,” Hochul wrote in her statement Wednesday. “Broadway shows are selling out and foot traffic to local businesses is spiking. School buses are getting kids to class on time, and yellow cab trips increased by 10%. Transit ridership is up, drivers are having a better experience, and support for this program is growing every day,” her statement said.

so much winning

So not allowed to spend the stamps at Maccas then?

So they can’t have any of their meagre pleasures and will have to stretch to get anything resembling adequate nutrition at the same time as Mexican imports will be much more expensive with tarrifs.

Love how small government works.

I’m not ambivalent I can assure you Sal. Have spent extraordinary amount of time talking about wars lately. Maybe not on here with you. I understand you are discussing and focussing on what Trump is doing now.

Europe and the US failed to stand up to Putin in 2022. It gave aid and put some sanctions on Russia - thank you - but failed to send combat or armed forces personnel and really stand up to Putin. This weakness allowed Putin to progress his war and enabled Russia to be in the position it’s in today. Europe was scared and the US didn’t want the war to escalate so they took an ‘in between’ position - “Here Ukraine here’s some aid you go fight the Russians”.

After Putin started his war, the position Ukraine is in now militarily is due to European and US weakness. Biden was great giving aid but was weak in how he dealt with Putin in 2022 and Putin saw this and marched further into Ukraine.

But, we are where we are. Which bring me to the now, where you are focussed.

Trump’s idiotic comments and strategy is making things worse. He should not be negotiating anything with Putin. It’s making a terrible situation worse and is appeasing Putin further after the US and Europe’s initial weakness.

Finally Europe is now waking up - let’s hope they step up further like they should have in 2022. Give the frozen $300bn to Ukraine, increase sanctions, lift your military aid and send a peacekeeping force/armed forces personnel - which I note Macron is finally taking about, better late than never.

Edited: changed the word troops to armed forces personnel just for Swoods. FML

Its the poors’ own fault they are not rich. They have to live with it. Thats the philosophy of the rich overlords. Its a philosophy they adopted from feudal Europe on July 4, 1776

It’s funny that Boris, who led UK OUT of Europe, starts off his message with “we Europeans”.
