US politics - the new orange wave (Part 7)

Has Musk forgotten he is the government now?

He’s big business, the media, and the government.

He’s not.
For legal reasons.

They’re just disrupting guys. The system needs a shake up.

Come on all you Trump and Elon fans, defend this crap. Or was it just a chance to tilt at your imaginary LEFT again. Idiotic, weak and pathetic if so.

The irony of Game boy Musk commenting on an elected leader Zelensky whilst he himself roams around the White House completely unelected.

Soon …many people both in the U.S and Europe will start to ignore these ramblings from Trump, Musk and this so-called “Administration”. They make ■■■■ up, keep egging each other on. Its a game they’ll soon realise they’ve over-reached in, and may well cause a chain of events they’ve no idea how to control or fix.

They’ll just deny and run. Cowards the lot of them.

Not quite that black and white BA.
Back in 2016, sure that was one of the kool-aids pedalled by the BRexiteers. But it was the ridding of the shackles of the EU and EC that drove BRexit. Immigration was the blue touch paper.

The UK at the mo’ is in a better position than most think. Able to calm the eejit in the WH in its own way and Starmer partnering with Macron on an equal footing before both go to Washington soon to talk some sense into Trump.

Tarrifs aside, it’s about kneecapping Trump and his mad advisors’ attempts to divide Ukraine between the U.S and Putin. Vlad wants land whilst useful idiot Trump reckons he wants the agro and minerals of western Ukraine. Thereafter who next?

Starmer and Macron have a job. A very big job. And that is to help the sane heads in Congress and the military doves in the Pentagon delay, obfuscate and deter Trump from handing over territory to Putin wrapped inside a major strategic advantage over a slowly awakening western Europe.

NATO is under short to medium term threat.
Ukraine’s sovereignty is literally at stake.
A poll of polls here in the UK this evening support a growing wish to realign and a re-approacment with the EU (not rejoin) and are rapidly turning their backs on this flavour of the Special Relationship.

Trump keeps this up and there will be huge unrest across Europe and within the U.S of A.
It might only take something like the AfD surging in German elections next week to start a fracturing. Italy is watching, Hungary and Slovakia are not to be trusted. It’s that tense …

Weirdly, Erdoğan who I think despises Russia might play a very important central role over the coming weeks months.

I’d love it if this was the point Americans - and the world generally - realised the danger, ineffectiveness and inefficiency of concentrating power in too few hands at the tip top of a nation state.

The point when they realise they want decisions handed up from below, rather than down from on high.

Like that whole American revolution thing, woke as it was.

So much waffle about EU administration things from 2022.

The single biggest killer of Ukraine’s independence right now, is the Trump / Musk dictatorship siding with Putin. Everything else is a diversion. Right now, the US should be laying the boots in to Russia. Instead, they’re laying into the one country that is fighting and dying to resist their fascist invaders.

It’s the most obvious fact of all. Trump is working in Russia’s interests.

  1. “The President and the Attorney General, SUBJECT TO THE PRESIDENT’S SUPERVISION AND CONTROL, shall provide authoritative interpretations of law…” This means the AG is a puppet. The president alone interprets law. This is unconstitutional. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  2. The President’s opinions on questions of law are “controlling on all employees” in all official duties. No employee can do anything that contradicts the President. But the most dangerous provision is the last one circled there. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  3. Circled there: “positions advanced in litigation”. That means court orders, restraining orders, and precedents set by courts previously. No federal employee can refuse to obey the president even if a federal court orders them not to obey the president. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  4. The executive order was preceded by this fact sheet. Probably to see what the immediate reaction would be to the executive order. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  5. The fact sheet summarizes what the executive order says, which is circled there. The president interprets the law all by himself. The AG is a puppet of the president. Look at one agency they mention, which is circled there. And why is that important? Let’s continue⬇️Image

  6. Trump obviously wants to do this, hence the mention of the FCC. Trump needs to control the news so all that will be said is pro-Trump propaganda which will also create a false majority in favor of everything he does. But there’s something worse already. Let’s continue⬇️Image
    Image

  7. When you do a Google search to find out if the president or AG can interpret law, it takes you immediately to Trump’s order first! Not to the Constitution! And this wasn’t the case prior to the order. So it appears there’s already something going here. Let’s continue⬇️Image
    Image

  8. Previous to the order, when you searched for these topics, things like this came up. Not an order from the president. Here you see that the president is NOT the final authority on the law. Let’s keep going⬇️Image

  9. As we see here, the judicial branch interprets the law. Not the president. Now, this led me to further investigation. And what’s going on is very interesting. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  10. I did a search for “Does Constitution say president interprets laws?” And AI took me to this. Where does AI get this information? Let’s see that next⬇️Image

  11. It’s getting that from Trump’s order! This is very strange. Basically, Trump is redefining the entire structure of the US Constitutional and political landscape and something in the information world is going along with it. Let’s continue⬇️Image
    Image

  12. Compare the language of Trump’s executive order with that of the AI overview I showed above. While they’re not identical, you can see striking similarities. But what I found next is very interesting. Let’s continue⬇️Image
    Image

  13. The search turned this up and we see two competing narratives. The top one is, of course, Trump’s order. The bottom one says, no, the judicial branch interprets law. So now let’s see that next⬇️Image

  14. See this? The president ENFORCES law, he does not INTERPRET law. But what we’re seeing is, somehow, the information world is rapidly moving toward the Trump order which says the president interprets law and is the sole authority to do that. Let’s continue⬇️Image
    Image

  15. You now have this guy saying any federal employee who violates an executive order will be fired. That now means employees must obey the president and not court orders that say the executive order is unconstitutional and should not be followed. And why?Image

  16. Because Trump now interprets the law, and not the judicial branch. We are now in a Constitutional crisis. What? You need more evidence? Fine. Let’s return to this next point⬇️Image

  17. It’s here. “Positions advanced in litigation” are the court orders that stop Trump’s executive orders. “Positions advanced in litigation” is the entire judicial branch of government! Trump has just said his interpretation of law is the sole authority. And also⬇️Image

  18. Of course, they will follow the court orders they like. But look at the photo on the right. What do you see as the message in that? What happens if an executive order makes this man more than he is? What we’re seeing is a coup. We’re beyond a mere Constitutional crisis.Image
    Image

  19. He literally told everyone he was going to do this. But there’s more to this. This whole mass firing of the federal government workforce? The executive orders demanding loyalty of employees? The move to impeach judges trying to stop it? And everything else? Let’s continue⬇️Image

  20. This is already happening with the mass firings of federal employees. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  21. This is already happening with the move to impeach federal judges who are trying to stop Trump. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  22. This will happen when Trump takes control of the FCC. He already started this when he took over the Kennedy Center so it will only show venues that he wants. Which will be his own cultural propaganda. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  23. This is what Trump wants to do. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  24. This is what’s being done in trying to impeach federal judges. And boosting the federal judges that rule in favor of Trump. Let’s continue⬇️Image

  25. And here is where we are headed if Trump continues removing the power of the judiciary. There’s obviously several people behind Trump who have planned this. I would say it’s Heritage Foundation, who got this from Viktor Orban and Danube Institute. So knowing all this⬇️Image

  26. The people writing the executive orders are the people behind Trump. Notice how he’s handed them and told what they are. That means it’s not just Trump, but those people, VP, the entire Trump admin, GOP Congress, and SCOTUS involved in this coup.

The coup was set out , step by step, by Project 2025. The same people that Trump addressed in their keynote speech. The same people that he later claimed not to know at all. And that people wilfully, deliberately ignored.

Just keep accepting that a pathological liar will lie, pretend that he wasnt a sociopathic turd last time, and excuse it every time. And here we are. Those that tried to minimize what he and his followers very very obviously were, have played their own small part in this disaster.

Obviously that occurred to me, too, but that exists with or without US involvement.

Every sane person knows the horror and terror of what the Russian invaders have inflicted on a sovereign nation.

Today’s topic is the complete and utter ■■■■ fuckery of Trump and Musk.

And…goddamn…I’m so disappointed on so many levels with so many people.
People here. People I know IRL.
Never a more truer meme going around than if you ever wondered what you’d be like if you were in Germany in the thirties, you’re doing it right now.

And so many people are going yeah, but.
Oh, I’d never have fallen for Goebbels, but Musk is an astute businessman.

He’s trying it on I reckon. Embedding dictatorship in fundamental changes via the ballot box. Fill your boots Vlad.

“ Experts are alarmed that the cuts could leave the United States defenseless against covert foreign influence operations and embolden foreign adversaries seeking to disrupt democratic governments.”

For political reasons I will strand two astronauts in space. Not great for them, but I know it will boost my flagging approval rating - said Joe Biden sitting atop his throne of skulls.

There have been valiant attempts to interpret the UN Charter in order to point out that, ‘yes but Biden and Europe only have themselves to blame for these recent bold actions, and only time will tell, they’re just as bad if not worse, burble burble burble…’. Sometimes the hardest and bravest place to be is at the centre - of your own positioning.

That’s ■■■■■■■ disgusting, this ■■■■■ would’ve run screaming for mummy on the first day if faced with a similar situation as Zelenskyy.
