US politics - the new orange wave (Part 7)

From a quick review TikTok ban was allowed and Trump wasn’t able to delay Stormy Daniels sentencing

So nothing about Taiwan, the South China sea, treatment of their minorities, the fact they don’t give a rats toss bag about their own citizens, their bullying of any small country that disagrees with them. For all of the US faults give a a democracy over an autocracy any day of the week.

The way the US is going, they’re going to be hard to distinguish from China.

In the last month Trump has threatened Canada, Mexico, Denmark / Greenland, Colombia and Panama.

They’re no longer the example to use if you want to talk about democracy.

A combination of anger, disgust, embarrassment, and terror. Thanks for asking.

My parents are worried about losing their social security and pensions. My brother is worried about the well-being of his Latina transgender stepdaughter.

Me, I’m worried about whether or not the plane will land safely the next time I go over there. With aging parents and a sister about to get married, I still have many reasons to travel.

As a white middle-aged male I think I am probably going to be okay, but the way things are, who knows? I mean if taking birthright citizenship away from everybody turned out to be a blanket rule, then both of my kids would immediately lose theirs.

If Trump legit starts punishing people for how they vote, then all of us could probably be thrown in jail.

Your list of criticisms applies equally if not more to the USA both pre Trump and now.

Yeah, this great red threat diatribe has been going in all my life.
I suggest most of it has actually come from the USA.
I remember a blitzer had a lot of experience in China, and it ended sticky. I respect that, and take it on board.
I worked there on and off for a little while post covid. I can honestly say it was the safest I have ever felt as a whitey overseas that knew noone.
Maybe singapore more so, Vietnam a close second. I go to the Philippines often, the most westernised asian country. Very very close ties to the U.S., was once a U.S. state. Mostly it is a dangerous shithole, with a strong " cult of personality". My inlaws always assign me a “minder” when I go out. If I like it or not.

I’ve never been a fan of the states. Music and geography, thats all they have IMO. Biggest bullshiters on the planet.

Putin and Xi must be rolling around with laughter, pumping up their own tires, drinking their own bath water, not believing their luck.

The once great USA becomes a failed and farked up state.

I reckon it won’t be long now till china takes Taiwan. they know with almost 1000% certainty America won’t care or do anything so it’s there for the taking now. I just hope we are not next on that list.
I very notch doubt we will ever get this aubmarines either .
the liar in chief will find a way to rip us off and not deliver a thing

The President of the USA: Too weak to forgive student loans or even offer a new payment plan, so powerful he can cancel spending Congress approved and just ignore business contracts they’ve signed and shut down agencies created by Congress.

“I don’t believe what he says and you’re all stupid for believing it. That’s why I want him to win!”

Trump may be the only politician ever who has support from people who don’t (or didn’t) believe the things he says, and there were Blitzers who espoused this rhetoric.

Don’t give a fark what he does, just recommend enlarging the pic if you want to see what the eyes of a man who sold his soul many times over look like. Which circle of hell Mitch?

Yep, and we ■■■■■■ of France in the process. Whoever keeps drinking the koolaid these days is a deadset ■■■■■■■■.

Explore our options I say. I very much doubt China would actually boots on the ground invade us.
Extend their influence, definately.

In saying that, I have been wrong often.
One thing is for sure, it’s time to start looking at unhitching our wagon from them. Never before has it been more obvious that they dont give a ■■■■ about anyone else (its always been that way actually).

Of course not. Taiwan is part of China and always was, until Chiang Kai-Shek and his thieving gangster thugs managed to escape there in 1949. The Taiwanese people didn’t want them, but Chiang and his gang had superior military powers and bumped off anyone who objected. With the help of the Septics, they’ve managed to turn Formosa into a capitalist oligarchy, rather like the USA itself. Enjoy it while you can - it can’t last for much longer.

I was talking about Australia. We have no place there, seeking out another war to interfere in, like Malaya and fugging VIetnam. Whatever happens in the South China Sea, in the Northern Hemisphere, is NOT OUR BUSINESS.

The Chinese “don’t give a rats toss bag about their own citizens” you claim. They actually care more about their own citizens - a lot more - than the Septics do about theirs. Compare the Chinese health system with the Septic one, for example.

The you go on to talk about “their bullying of any small country that disagrees with them.” Check out the Septics and Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Denmark, Ukraine, and by proxy, Palestine - and that’s only the start of the list. To move closer to home check out Australia and East Timor.

Do you really think the Septic Tankland is a democracy ? It’s only recently that I posted Bernie Sanders’ statement on that:

Democracy is one person, one vote and a full discussion of the issues that affect us. Oligarchy is billionaires buying elections, voter suppression and a concentrated corporate media determining what we see, hear and read.

Septicaemia is not a Democracy - it’s an Oligarchy, which is a specific form of Autocracy.

Oh it will and I wouldn’t underestimate Taiwan at all. They won’t give up without a fight and there will be many deaths on both sides. I don’t think we should get involved directly but I’d be willing to bet we will be straight in there

It is true that the US has many issues, as seen through current events, but all that said there are plenty of them fighting and protesting what his happening. You would not see that in Chine. Ask as resident of Hong Kong what they think of their current masters to their former ones. All the promises made to Hong Kong were BS and what about the ones that have gone missing for speaking out. There is nothing good about the Chinese regime. I would absolutely choose to live in the US over China and retain by ability to speak out and my freedom of movement.

Don’t feel sorry for that Rsole - he will be going out with many millions of ill gotten gains. He has helped change world history for the very worst outcome. Deserves a nomination for an all-time Rsole.
