US politics - the new orange wave (Part 7)

Trump appointed Musk to run DOGE…agreed?

Watch this and then tell me that that he does nothing

Sanders is. AOC is. There’s a few others. But not many, and not the ones in charge.

Yep…they need to clear out a lot of the older ones…or at least boot them to the back benches.

The late and great John Candy was Canadian too - the plot thickens!

No, actualy you miss the point entirely.

Trumps rhetoric and words enabled and encouraged the insurrection. His rhetoric and words enable and embolden racism and bigotry to run rampant.

You are taking an incredibly simplistic and utterly naieve view of Trump becuase for whatever strange reason you feel good about taking the moral highground over people who are rightuflly concerned, on a matter that you have admitted you dont really think is of much importance. Yet youre still here.

Yeah…she’s a ripper…always has the evidence to back up her words.

And who can forget her ‘bleach blonde bad-built butch body’ comment about Marjorie Taylor Greene.

I would argue this isn’t the case anymore. The political establishment for sure hates the term, but I think the electorate in general has moved past it. Bernie came out of absolutely nowhere in 2016 as a self-described “democratic socialist” to almost steal the Democratic nom from Hillary, who looked a shoe-in for POTUS for many years prior to that election. Had they adopted more of his platform in the years since, the GOP would have been rendered unelectable for a generation.

It’s hard to hide my contempt for the Democrats lately. They knew the fire they were playing with and kept persisting with pointless political own-goals and a tried-and-failed election strategy.

Putin’s vision of Russia’s future bears a far stronger material resemblance to the old Russian Empire than the USSR. They’re as far away from socialism as the U.S is.

They don’t care. They are rich, and will remain rich. They will be re-elected, and re-elected, and re-elected until they die.
